Went in for the first time since the remodel and it looks like an ice cream store now. Had plenty of flavors to choose from in the frozen and the Chai and chocolate malt tasted super good.

Really enjoyed getting some soft serve ice cream at D'Lites Emporium recently! I ended up getting a chocolate and vanilla swirl with some chocolates on top and it was great! It was pretty much a very generic soft serve, but they did have about a dozen other soft serve flavors and toppings to choose from which was awesome! They also had this spinning wheel which when I spun I won a $5 gift card, so I'll have to go back! It's gotten some great ratings, and from the variety, quality, and reasonably low prices, I'll have to recommend you try their ice cream out as well!

Came here wanting a sweet treat that was in the healthier side, but man was I surprised with how bad it was. I sampled many flavors and all of them lacked flavor. Ended up picking devils food cake in a cake cone. The flavor seemed to be even less and less as I kept eating it. I was excited to finally get to the cone part but something is super weird about their cone. It tasted like I was eating drywall. I was surprised how empty I was at first but now I can see why. The only cute thing was all the fun games they have at the front. If only I could sit in here and play games without having to order anything. Sadly it did not satisfy my sweet tooth and I still have a very odd drywall aftertaste. Being healthy is not worth it for this one :/

We used to frequent this business in order to get the ice cream that is very different from places like the typical brand stores (ie. Cold Stone, which has good ice cream, but not the same when it comes to something that was freshly made and not loaded with sugar). The last time we had this ice cream (maybe 2022-2023 we don’t keep track), it was the same as what we have been served for many years and we’ve lived here in Gainesville for 20.Unfortunately, this place has also changed. My wife got a cone that was supposed to be dipped in the hot chocolate. The person behind the counter proceeded to scoop out the chocolate while holding the ice cream cone with the ice cream face up instead of dipping it in. I wasn’t there to witness this (I had our dogs and stayed outside), but I could see when my wife came out of the store that only the tip of the ice cream had chocolate on it with the rest having dribbles of chocolate running down the ice cream. It looked a mess and had it been me, I would’ve just said no stop to what she was doing. That employee should not have spoon dipped the chocolate out and should have informed my wife that there was not enough in the pan to properly dip the ice cream. It should have covered the entire ice cream down to the top rim of the cone. She wasn’t asked and wasn’t looking until the employee came back to the counter with this mess of a cone.My cup was a swirl (chocolate, vanilla) with a small portion of chocolate sprinkles. Cup size has also changed so the medium I asked for was changed to a small. Both of our ice cream came out of the machine and it was not good at all. The texture and taste was not what we expected and clearly not the same from our past experience.I don’t know how many times the business has changed hands but what ever recipe was used years ago should not have been changed. I can only describe the taste as some kind of “ice” watered down something. The chocolate and vanilla didn’t taste like what chocolate and vanilla should taste like and looking at the texture it was clear it was not the same creamy smooth ice cream we once had.Understandably when businesses change hands there is bound to be some differences but to change the recipe or ice cream or whatever happened, my opinion, just means it’s not going to be received well.We will not be going back.

Horrible! I been going here for years! Ever since the new owners took over you can’t get the ice cream to taste right. After they charged my credit card I tasted it and it tasted so horrible, she said there was no way to give credit back. That is bad business!

We love D'lites! The best little local ice cream shop with a unique product in the lower-calorie dessert option. There are plenty of topping options and even take-home ice cream sandwiches, bulk options, etc. Definitely go support this place! :)

Quiet place with multi-flavored yogurts, creams, and variety of toppings. Love to go here and relax while snacking.

No idea how this place is highly rated. The chocolate had no chocolate flavor. The inside felt like a third world emergency room. Definitely not a fun ice cream destination and the soft serve was totally underwhelming.

Okay Always have gone on Wednesday to use their special promo. Today, 9/27 @ 3:30 the selection was the worst ever. 2 associates talking, coolers empty, and at checkout had the nerve to say they may have more in the back. When I asked for more “light color stock” she did not understand. The owner needs to call me. Reply to this message with your number. Photos attached.

This is the best ice cream you'll ever eat! I've been coming here for 12 or more years. Never disappointed!

Worth the 2 hour drive from Orlando. There's nothing like it anywhere nearby. Big thanks to the awesome employee who helped us pick out a bunch of frozen containers to load our cold bag to the brim. Sorry we missed her name!
