We visited High Springs Brewing Co. and Taino Roots was set up. Initially, we were hesitant as neither of us is into seafood, however upon seeing the menu we decided to try the braised chicken tacos, roasted pork tacos, and fried cheese bites. Everything was exceptional, the tender meats were complimented by the pickled cabbage slaw and cilantro cream sauce on the tacos, and as someone who does not care for cilantro, I found them to be well balanced flavors. The fresh mozzarella with a light breading and guava dipping sauce was next level. This is definitely a food truck worth following!

This chef knows food. On a molecular level! We visited First Magnitude brewing during a quick visit to Gainesville and he was set up outside. Not hungry but curious, I visited him to eat what kind of dishes he creates. Fish ceviche on the menu. My interest was piqued. So I ask, what kind of fish? Fresh grouper, he says. Sold! Within 2 minutes of talking to him I was confident I'd eat whatever he made and the nacho fish ceviche was out of the world phenomenal! Well done my man!

SUPERB!!! This is high quality restaurant food! The Grouper Ceviche is insanely good and pairs perfectly with the local beers from the different breweries they visit. The owner, Ivan, is very approachable and down to earth. Food was so good I also tried the "Hot Sundae Cup" with pork. You have to try it, DELICIOUS!!! ?
