“Absolutely our favorite place to hang out In Gulfport!! Great food, drinks, service and live music! Nicest people, always greeted with a smile. If you get the chance, you should give them a try! Also THE BEST KEY LIME PIE I’ve ever had!!!!!“
“Dined here spur of the moment one evening. Parking is limited, I think, but we found a spot close by. We were seated right away. We ordered fish and shrimp. They bring out fresh, toasted, Cuban bread for the meal. The fish was crusted in plantain chips and the shrimp were in a white wine sauce. Both dishes were extremely tasty! Highly recommend checking out Habana Cafe if you haven’t.“
“Amazing Cubans!! We get the St. Pete sandwich and it is just amazing. The family who owns it is great, too. One of the best hidden gems in town! There’s a few tables to sit inside and one or two outside. Most people grab and go. They have chips and drinks as well.“
“Super flavorful and delish! We loved the Umami and Yard Bird bowls + the lime ginger coconut juice. Their sauces are bomb, and I want to try them all.I like to eat vegetarian and totally would here in the future because everything is super flavorful, even the beans.“
“This is off the main tourist path but if you are looking to try some traditional Cuban food, it’s worth the trip! The empanadas were fried to perfection and had a good filling to dough ratio. The Cuban sandwich was very good and was toasted to perfection! It was also a generous helping and could even be shared! Their other platters looked great and I had FOMO seeing what others ordered! It’s not a huge spot and is very casual. Service was friendly too!“
“I went back in December, lovely place great service and food. I tried the croquettas de jamon, an amazing Cuban sandwich, guava pastelito and a mimosa. All made when I ordered. Prices are great for the quality of food. The owner was very kind, told me about the stores history and also gave me great recommendations for other places to try. Now Parking, it's a shared plaza and not huge but should be easy enough to find parking.“
“Oh. My. Gosh. We were in town for a reggae festival and this was close to our airbnb. I am Dominican and my partner is American and we both LOVED everything. Ham croquetas were excellent. I had a cortadito (sweet) and my partner had a Cafe con Leche. This place is authentic, people will walk in speaking Spanish to the woman at the counter like they have known her for years. This is an authentic cuban cafeteria. We are looking forward to our next visit to St. Pete to see them again! You should come too - you will not regret it!“
“Their Cuban is amazing! If you get the one with lettuce tomato on it, while not authentic, it's the way to go. And these sandwiches are huge! It's take out only and you order through the front door. I'll say that part is pretty obnoxious since they took the screen out of the door and you have to bend over to poke your head in to order. Never seen such a silly way of doing things! Did anyone think to take the top part of the door off so you can talk at eye level for your order? Also, don't let the super sketchy run down building scare you away. This place and the pizza place next door are both killer and no frills!“
“Decided to check out Nomi Nori on a Saturday night and I was blown away. The sushi… 10/10. Fresh. Flavorful. Fantastic. Our waitress, Daniela, was absolutely on top of it all night. She went above and beyond to accommodate our table. She was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The service was 10/10.. hands down.We asked for a few drink recommendations based on the menu and Moses the bartender took some time to figure out exactly what we were feeling. Next thing I know, this mans slinging absolute fire like Brady slinging 1st downs in the 4th quarter of the Patriots Falcons 17’ Super Bowl. Drinks were 10/10.If you’re in the are looking for a great food, great drinks, and excellent service. Make sure you check this place out!“
“As a certified meat eater, I can say this vegan food ROCKS. You HAVE to order the chili cheese fries, I loved my Rueben but the fries were next level. The side chickies were good too but could do with more filling, it was kind of like just eating batter. A friend dining with me also commented that the GF bread was divine and didn’t have the usual “sandy” taste you get from other GF breads.“
