“BEST Cuban sandwiches ANYWHERE! Not too much meat, and nicely pressed. Their other sammies are good, too. Fast and friendly service, I'm a regular here, and I'm picky!Vegetarian options: One of my house favorites is a 'no meat' tomato & onion sandwich. Order it 'well pressed', so it's oozy!Parking: In the strip-center where they're located parking can be tight, but I've never had a problem finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: This place would be fun for kids but the sammies are large, so maybe they'd share?“
“This little place has been my go to for many years. Love the people and the food. You can dine in or order for takeout. Checkout is very easy since they take contactless payments with phones now (always nice when you forget your wallet). I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a good place to go. Also, they have more than just Cubans. Go ahead give it a try.“
“Amazing Cubans!! We get the St. Pete sandwich and it is just amazing. The family who owns it is great, too. One of the best hidden gems in town! There’s a few tables to sit inside and one or two outside. Most people grab and go. They have chips and drinks as well.“
“Super flavorful and delish! We loved the Umami and Yard Bird bowls + the lime ginger coconut juice. Their sauces are bomb, and I want to try them all.I like to eat vegetarian and totally would here in the future because everything is super flavorful, even the beans.“
“This is off the main tourist path but if you are looking to try some traditional Cuban food, it’s worth the trip! The empanadas were fried to perfection and had a good filling to dough ratio. The Cuban sandwich was very good and was toasted to perfection! It was also a generous helping and could even be shared! Their other platters looked great and I had FOMO seeing what others ordered! It’s not a huge spot and is very casual. Service was friendly too!“
“I went back in December, lovely place great service and food. I tried the croquettas de jamon, an amazing Cuban sandwich, guava pastelito and a mimosa. All made when I ordered. Prices are great for the quality of food. The owner was very kind, told me about the stores history and also gave me great recommendations for other places to try. Now Parking, it's a shared plaza and not huge but should be easy enough to find parking.“
“Oh. My. Gosh. We were in town for a reggae festival and this was close to our airbnb. I am Dominican and my partner is American and we both LOVED everything. Ham croquetas were excellent. I had a cortadito (sweet) and my partner had a Cafe con Leche. This place is authentic, people will walk in speaking Spanish to the woman at the counter like they have known her for years. This is an authentic cuban cafeteria. We are looking forward to our next visit to St. Pete to see them again! You should come too - you will not regret it!“
“Very tasty! Ordered ahead and had a pleasant pickup experience. I had the jackfruit sandwich and as a vegetarian I highly recommend!!! Ohhhhh and get the chocolate banana empanada, you’ll love it. Vegetarian options: Jackfruit sandwich ?“
“Their Cuban is amazing! If you get the one with lettuce tomato on it, while not authentic, it's the way to go. And these sandwiches are huge! It's take out only and you order through the front door. I'll say that part is pretty obnoxious since they took the screen out of the door and you have to bend over to poke your head in to order. Never seen such a silly way of doing things! Did anyone think to take the top part of the door off so you can talk at eye level for your order? Also, don't let the super sketchy run down building scare you away. This place and the pizza place next door are both killer and no frills!“
“Looking for a nice place to eat, try this place. It is in a small strip mall on 14th Street and Gulf Blvd. I am glad I found it. It's a small place with very good food. Every thing we tried was very good. I will be sure to go back next year when we stay here again. The grouper sandwich I had was very good. My wife enjoyed the fried shrimp and my daughter had a very good chicken taco. Overall, an extremely delicious meal for a good price. I do recommend giving it a try!“
“Decided to check out Nomi Nori on a Saturday night and I was blown away. The sushi… 10/10. Fresh. Flavorful. Fantastic. Our waitress, Daniela, was absolutely on top of it all night. She went above and beyond to accommodate our table. She was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The service was 10/10.. hands down.We asked for a few drink recommendations based on the menu and Moses the bartender took some time to figure out exactly what we were feeling. Next thing I know, this mans slinging absolute fire like Brady slinging 1st downs in the 4th quarter of the Patriots Falcons 17’ Super Bowl. Drinks were 10/10.If you’re in the are looking for a great food, great drinks, and excellent service. Make sure you check this place out!“
“Seems to be one of the best kept secrets around! We enjoyed everything from the service to the view and the quality of the food. The salmon salad, blackened grouper sandwich and burgers were phenomenal. We really enjoyed the grouper appetizer with the signature potato curl style fries . Lindsay was a sweet and attentive server. The deck provided a wonderful atmosphere with a gorgeous view. The parking is a little challenging. If you are staying at a resort close by, definitely walk if you can. Even if you can’t stay, grab something to go. You won’t be disappointed.“
“Quaint little sandwich place, the service was good but a little slow. We ordered Cubans, rice and beans, fries, tostones and drinks took a bit of time to get our order. The food itself was fine nothing extraordinary but it was good. Would probably go again for lunch.“
“We got potato stuff! Which were absolutely amazing! We got empanadas which were also amazing! Then we all got Cuban Sandwichs. They allow you to customize your Cuban so we got one with mayo only. The Cubans were perfect. Definitely will go back!“
