“Should Have Been 5 Stars, But… The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the servers are pleasant and helpful. We started with the Red Sangria which was really good. For an appetizer we shared the delicious Drunken Shrimp. It came with nicely crusted Cuban bread for sopping up the wonderful sauce. As a bread lover, I also enjoyed the complimentary Cuban bread that comes for the table. For entrees we had the Lechon Asado, a little dry but the accompanying sauce on the side was perfect. We also had the Summer Dill Chicken. The bird was a bit tough but the sauce was excellent. Accompanying the entrees was some OK white rice (yellow would have been nicer) and excellent plantains with perfectly caramelized exteriors. Portions were very large, so we had plenty for another meal at home. Another time I would like to try their flan and Cuban coffee. I would have given Habana Café 5 stars, but I found on the check a 3.5% fee if using a credit card. This didn’t appear anywhere on the menu or on their Facebook site that I could see. And 3.5% is probably about 1% more than the restaurant is paying the credit card company. Raise prices if you need to, but these hidden charges are very annoying.“

“My first visit and wow was i impressed! Our waitress seemed to just know when we needed something - our glasses never went dry. The aroma of the food tantalized our senses as we ordered. The restaurant was clean, well decorated and overlooked a nice little pond. Everyone was friendly, even the restaurant staff thanked us for coming as we left and walked by their open kitchen door. The crab Rangoon was by far the best I have ever had Wow!! The line was long, but the other guests were as friendly as the staff because they knew the wait was worth it! Yep I highly recommend Zom Hee Chinese Restaurant … it will become a staple for dining out or takeout when we want Chinese!“

“Still Excellent After all These Years Four of us enjoyed an excellent meal at Café Largo. It was Wednesday and the place only had a couple of other tables full—one was a large birthday party. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Our server, the wife of the couple that owns the place, was very sweet and helpful. The food was all delicious. We shared an order of the appetizer scallops and the foie gras. For mains we had a fantastic veal chop and delicious lamb chops and a couple branzino. For dessert we enjoyed the chocolate mousse, the ice caffe glace and their homemade ice cream--all wonderful. It’s nice to have an option for some excellent wines. The Margaux was very good, but the Pomerol was even better. Café Largo is an excellent choice for any kind of special event dinner. I hope it won’t be too long until our next visit.“

“Been here several times, and the service and food is always amazing. Birch and Vine lost my Christmas Eve reservation that I made six weeks in advance and even showed them confirmation on my phone. They didn’t even apologize or try to accommodate us. The manager Parkshore Grill was so nice and understanding she made a table for my family of eight and saved our Christmas Eve.“

“A full blown date night restaurant in my opinion—delicious food, friendly service. Full bar and drink selection. We had appetizers, burger/entree, dessert and everything we ordered was great. What I like since their reopening is that it is less cafe and more full dining. I am not a vegan, and all of the alternative ingredients used tasted great and I did not feel like I was missing out on any flavor based on the absence of animal products. The parking was easy, they brought us a high chair, and my toddler was thrilled with the side Mac and cheese (he is extremely picky). They also have changing stations in the bathroom for little ones. Looking forward to coming back to try brunch!“

Perhaps this is due to them making everything in house: fresh baked bread for the finger sandwiches, puff pastries with cream and jam, rum spiked fruit cake...all delicious. If you've never been to England, and still want the authentic experience, gather some friends and arrange with Jack's for a delightful afternoon of tea, food and conversation.“

Ordered a lager beer with the Cajun Trio consisting of Jambalaya, Creole Gumbo and Rice & Beans, and paired it with Fried Green Tomatoes. Everything was delicious. “The first time we ate at The Frog Pond we knew we would be back as regulars. Their homemade strawberry jam is fantastic - definitely ask for a side of that with your toast! The breakfast sausage is amazing as is their Eggs in a Pan dish. It’s by far my favorite thing on the menu. The staff and manager, Josh, are also fantastic. Always great service and they were so wonderful with our 2 year old every time we came in.“

“Trendy Café with Very Good Food It was a rainy Saturday morning and the place was busy. No one could use the outdoor tables, so it was crowded inside. Nevertheless, things moved along quickly and we got our order in and got a table. The staff members were all very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The coffee was very good. For food a Jam-on-It Sandwich which was quite nice. We also had a berry yogurt bowl. The yogurt was delicious and the fruit and granola on it were great. The scone we got, nicely warmed, was delicious. I’ll return, but I’ll try for a dry weekday.“

“Made a last minute reservation for my husband's birthday lunch before going to the movies. What a great choice. Joe our server was outstanding, friendly and helpful. I ordered the hamburger and it was the bomb, my husband ordered the crabcake Benedict and he was in love. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat.
