“Definitely a diamond in the rough!! There were 5 in our party and even tho we waited awhile it was definitely worth it. Our waitress was excellent and let us know from the beginning that she was backed up but would be back to us as soon as she could check on the other tables. She was actually the only server on duty!! The food was also excellent and well worth the wait and the price was very reasonable. We also sat where we could watch the kitchen staff working their butts off handling table orders as well as a stream of take out orders. All 5 of us agreed our experience was worth every minute. While we were there I didn't hear any complaints at all, which is highly unusual when you have any kind of wait. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We even tipped the kitchen staff for their hard work.“

“Took a group of 20 ladies for lunch on Tuesday. We were seated immediately outside on a gorgeous FL Spring day. Our waiter was great and very personable. The ladies all agreed that the Bartendar made the best mixed cocktails, too! Now to the delicious food. Oh my, everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals from oysters, lobster sliders, hamburgers, fish sandwiches, salads & more. Easy to find and easy parking too! We will be back. We really want to try the early bird dinners. I enjoy weekend afternoons here with live music, too. We hit 5 stars here as it is not the easiest thing to impress all 20!“

“A full blown date night restaurant in my opinion—delicious food, friendly service. Full bar and drink selection. We had appetizers, burger/entree, dessert and everything we ordered was great. What I like since their reopening is that it is less cafe and more full dining. I am not a vegan, and all of the alternative ingredients used tasted great and I did not feel like I was missing out on any flavor based on the absence of animal products. The parking was easy, they brought us a high chair, and my toddler was thrilled with the side Mac and cheese (he is extremely picky). They also have changing stations in the bathroom for little ones. Looking forward to coming back to try brunch!“

“Been here several times, and the service and food is always amazing. Birch and Vine lost my Christmas Eve reservation that I made six weeks in advance and even showed them confirmation on my phone. They didn’t even apologize or try to accommodate us. The manager Parkshore Grill was so nice and understanding she made a table for my family of eight and saved our Christmas Eve.“

Perhaps this is due to them making everything in house: fresh baked bread for the finger sandwiches, puff pastries with cream and jam, rum spiked fruit cake...all delicious. “The first time we ate at The Frog Pond we knew we would be back as regulars. Their homemade strawberry jam is fantastic - definitely ask for a side of that with your toast! “Trendy Café with Very Good Food It was a rainy Saturday morning and the place was busy. No one could use the outdoor tables, so it was crowded inside. Nevertheless, things moved along quickly and we got our order in and got a table. The staff members were all very pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was fun and lively. The coffee was very good. For food a Jam-on-It Sandwich which was quite nice. We also had a berry yogurt bowl. The yogurt was delicious and the fruit and granola on it were great. The scone we got, nicely warmed, was delicious. I’ll return, but I’ll try for a dry weekday.“

“We were here on an earlier Friday evening and had to wait about 45 minutes until we could get a table. The quality of the food is absolutely great!! The filet mignon was wonderfully tender and tasted absolutely delicious!! Unfortunately, the meat was quite oversalted and my wife's lobster was quite heavily peppered. The salad was one of the best I ate during our stay in the USA. The service was good and attentive. It's a shame that the chef went overboard with the spices. That's why only 4 stars!“

“Made a last minute reservation for my husband's birthday lunch before going to the movies. What a great choice. Joe our server was outstanding, friendly and helpful. I ordered the hamburger and it was the bomb, my husband ordered the crabcake Benedict and he was in love. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat.
