“I was craving tacos but unwilling to pay 5 dollars per Taco. I took a chance on their classic soul hamburger meal and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The fries were stuck together, but the waiter was attentive and provided me everything I asked for. I asked for a side of jalapenos because I was craving something picante, she came back with the jalapenos and their spicy salsa. It was delicious and just the spice I was looking for. They have more seating towards the back but enjoyed cooling down near the bar area. The margarita was balanced not overpowering subtle and good. I'm still getting accustomed to this automatic gratitude service charge at restaurants out here. Overall I was satisfied and enjoyed my meal.”

Obviously there aren't many shaved ice spots in south Florida, so saying that D for Dessert is the best may not be much but I also think that this spot has some of the better dessert of South Florida in general. Their bing su shaved ice was just great: not too sweet, great flavor! The portion sizes are great as well; perfect for sharing one among two people.
My only complaint is that their boba wasn't at that same level as their bingsu. In all honesty, if I was them, instead of having more items in the menu, I would put more focus on toppings on the side of the bingsu.
All in all, highly recommend stopping by for dessert!”

We ordered 1 large Philly and 1 large Pastrami sub to split. I can't tell you which one I liked more but they were awesome and the crew inside were like family laughing, joking and knowing local orders as they walked inside. I loved the experience from the moment I walked inside. Good people and good food, what else do you need? It was perfect weather so we were able to eat outside on their patio. I went in and told them how much I liked the subs, they appreciated it and continuing the jokes telling me I need a Phins Jersey lol it was what we needed before driving back to Central Florida. I hardly make it to Miami, I hope to be back, mean it! I wish I had one as I write this post. 5 🌟”

The server comes to refill tour drinks and refill your boiling pot but overall you feel like you are in your private kitchen without the hussle of cleaning and doing the dishes.”

“Lalous was my first experience with Haitian food. I honestly sought this cuisine out because I learned about Pikliz and wanted to try it. My husband and I shared the fried goat with rice and peas. The goat was perfectly seasoned, crisp on the outside, and tender on the inside. The plantains were the best I have ever had. I don't even like plantains, however, I would seek these out. The Pikliz....SO good. We loved out meal. I was so excited, I forgot to take a photo. The store front is humble. The staff are incredibly friendly. The gentleman who took our order, I would describe as jolly. If we ever find ourselves in Miami again, we will definitely be back.”

I had the sausage peppers and onions without the pasta, since I am celiac ,and the cauliflower pizza crust with pep and saus.. Simply amazing! My wife had regular specialty pizza and tiramisu for desert. Exceptional service and the food phenominal! A must try if anywhere near Hollywood!”

Tip. The hours on Google are not accurate. Saturday, they were open at 9:30-10AM. This is around the time I went.”

(The restaurant has indoor seating, seating immediately outside the entry, and seating adjacent to the street.) The ambiance was relatively quiet where we were seated and more lively closer to the street.\n\nI chose the restaurant because I wanted to sample Romanian food. I ordered the Romanian goulash soup. My spouse ordered the spaghetti Bolognese. I found the goulash soup to be more of a stew. Quite good, but not as spicy or soupy as I recall the Hungarian variety to be. My wife thought the spaghetti Bolognese to be very good.\n\nThe Russian waitress was very attentive and provided excellent service.\n\nWe may visit the Romana again when passing through Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood.”

We arrived about 8 minutes late yet they had our table of 7 waiting for us in a very cozy corner. In addition, they had a band that aligned with our age group so everyone sang along. Best of all surprises was the food was absolutely spectacular. Although, it was a set menu and price, the food was high quality and cooked to perfection. Needless to say, we will return.”

“On our way to Miami from Fort Lauderdale for a cruise and was looking for something affordable and on the beach. Mamacitas fit the bill. This isn't a quiet, relaxed place but we sat away from the main action so that was OK. Fun atmosphere with music and people singing. Food arrived very quickly and was really good especially the lechon asado that I ordered. Would hughly recommend if you're looking for something reasonably priced, on the beach, and with a lively atmosphere.”

The food was spectacular, my husband got their traditional Colombia meal with plantains , beans , chicharron and rice etc it was delicious!!
I got their 8oz sirloin with smash potatoes and waffles fries. It was cooked the way I had asked medium rare. It was perfect and filling.
