“An absolute gem of a restaurant. If you are in the area, you have to stop in and get some of this delicious cuisine! We went in as a 4 pack of diners, each of us trying something different. Everything we ordered was just delicious. Fresh ingredients which makes for an outstanding experience. Great food, and a lovely disposition about the place. They had a DJ live streaming Puerto Rican House music. Must try if you are in South Florida!Vegetarian options: limited options but satisfying. Rice and beans, fried plantains.Parking: Free parking in the lot or on the street.Kid-friendliness: Family orientated restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs.“
“LOS MAS DUROS EN COMIDA PUERTORIQUEÑA Y PICADERA TIPICA! The best mofongo I've had next to my very own grandmother's cooking! Abuela, forgive me but it's true. It's that good! The queso frito with the fresh guava sauce is decadent and always comes out piping hot! All the food is made fresh and made to order! So please be patient if dining in or just order ahead if you are tight on time. Do not leave without trying the dessert! Patria Boricua offers it's patrons a CRUNCHY & CREAMY creation that simply must be tried drizzled with fresh nutella! Don't miss out! This place is a solid 10/10. Generous portions and a taste so close to home that'll keep you coming back again and again. Buen provecho!“
“So many different flavors to pick from and they are all delicious. Our favorite one is the Bourbon flavor. For the end of the year holidays, the bottles even come decorated which makes them great gifts. I ended up buying individual bottles to all my staff at work. I recommend Coquito Key 100%!“
“I was on my way to Wynwood and wanted to get an appetizer before the fun began! I searched up empanadas on yelp and this was one of the few that caught my eye because it was Puerto Rican food truck. They had two food trucks set up side by side El Bori, and El Bori fries. It was located in a small parking lot, and had an overhang with tables and seating available to customers. Papas Supreme Fries were $6 It's French fries, topped with ground beef, cilantro-mayo, and spicy mayo. Empanadillas (Turnover) $4 Lasagna!! The lasagna empanada and papas supreme fries were my FAVORITE. 100/10. Yes you heard me correct. These two dishes were amazing! The meat and sauces on top of the fries were flavorful and enhanced the fries a lot. The prices were great because the portions were so big. I have never had a lasagna empanada but let me tell you I have been craving another one ever since I tried it. It was so unique, and the fried outside was crispy and flaky. I HIGHLY recommend these two dishes. I can't wait to go back and try there mofongo. Bolitas de Queso- $6 Mozzarella and chedder mix served with guava and garlic sauce. This menu item I did not enjoy. I thought there would be a cheese pull and when I bit into it the cheese wasn't really melted and the flavors were off with the item. The lasagna and fries out weighted the bolitas de queso which is why I'm giving them a 5 star. The staff was great, and walked over to us to check how everything was, and the food was freshly cooked.“
“We came in for our last meal on our trip to Miami based and this restaurant did not disappoint. Tomas was our server and he gave great recommendations. We ordered a couple of entrees and the Mofongo with Shrimp and garlic sauce was our favorite. Delicious!!“
