The staff is efficient and that may come across as rude as they are sometimes in a rush. Understand, you are dealing with another culture and what we may consider rude is not so to them. “So glad we ended up at this place for lunch! We were driving around looking for arepas, and saw good reviews for this restaurant on Google so we decided to stop by. We were a little hesitant at first because it's located inside the Shell gas station, but the gas station was super clean and organized, the parking wasn't a problem for us (we got a spot in the front right away), and the restaurant is towards the back and also very clean and separated nicely. There are tables for you to sit and enjoy your food. We ordered ours to go, but we sat down while we waited. The food did not take very long to come out. We ordered arepas, chicharrones, and a mondongo soup. They were all very yummy! I recommend getting the garlic cilantro sauce for the arepas. This place actually fills the arepa up with toppings, unlike other places that don't. The staff was SUPER friendly and answered any and all questions we had regarding the menu. I realized while we were there that they are on Uber eats, and I'm excited to order from here and try more things! I would absolutely recommend this place.”

“I have been here several times and it is by far the best PR food at the best price I have had between here and Orlando. The PR Rice (mamposteao with sweet plantains and steak mixed in) is amazing. Love their appetizer Coqui bandeja and their alcapurrias are great. My parents who are a set of the pickiest people on this planet love the food. He had a seafood soup (not on the menu) and the mofongo bowl (if you don't know, go find out!) and they were signing its praises. Gino (the chef) knows how to whip it up in the kitchen. I highly recommend you go there. It will not disappoint!”

This place is 5 stars! THIS REVIEW DOESN'T GIVE ENOUGH JUSTICE TO HOW GOOD THE FOOD WAS! I highly recommend the Tripleta sandwiches. “Best Chinese take out in Homestead. The food is so freash and clean. My friend and I had the lunch specials on a Saturday. I ordered the chicken with broccoli and she ordered honey garlic chicken. Wow was it good! We ended up trying and sharing our food because it was so good. I never eat honey garlic chicken because it's always bad and nasty, not at this place! It was perfect. I even tried a piece alone without sauce and the breading was delicious and had a freshness to it. We had soooo much food it came with fried rice and soup and the total was 19 and change! We had alot for leftovers. The pickup was at a window of the place and was less than a min.

“pizza was great, been there several times. very disappointed they were short staff so took a while to get greeted and sat. the pizza was served fast. waitress was pleasant and friendly. was upset most staff did not wear masks. the parking lot no fault of restaurant had almost no parking lot lights, flooded from rain. the restaurants bathroom with one toilet had no toilet tissue, at 9pm. I guess my experience was so so, I would try them again.”

“These Southern Californians were passing through town, craving the Mexican food we know and love best: Street Tacos. We found the most amazing street tacos at this restaurant. (The menu doesn't call them that, but that's what we call them.) They're soft tacos made with a small warmed corn tortilla: tell them what meat you want inside, and then you add the toppings of your choice: chopped onions, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime -- and if you like, one or more of several fresh hot sauces/salsas, too. My husband had steak and lengua -- and he couldn't stop talking about how good the lengua was. I had chicken and carnitas, and both were delicious. \nIf you're in town and craving tacos, give them a try -- don't let the unimpressive exterior deter you from a truly delicious meal.”
