Been there twice and they were closed. They were supposed to be open. Try calling and get voice mail stating they are not accepting calls.

I eat out 5 days a week and I have to say this was the absolute worst dining experience I’ve ever had!!! After waiting 40 minutes for our food the waitress came over and said they just finished cleaning the fryer and our food was just going in. Now this was at 7:00 on a Saturday. Who cleans their fryer at this time? The first indication that the place wasn’t going to be good was that we were the only 3 people in the place. The waiters continued to tell us we could leave and go somewhere else if we didn’t want to wait. So we waited thinking we are already here. When our food finally came out it was down right awful. I ordered a French dip that I couldn’t tear apart whatever king of meat it was with my fingers. It was pure gristle. My daughter got wings that had a teaspoon of sauce on the entire order. My husband got fish tacos which were one piece of deep fried fish on a tortilla. It wasn’t edible!!!! Never again.

Today my parents and I went to get food here. When we walked in there was no one there, we didn’t even see any waitresses in site. We said hello numerous times, finally someone came out a couple minutes later saying she was busy doing something then told us to sit anywhere we want. She got our order and it didn’t take too long to come out. My mom got mild wings, my dad got a grouper sandwich and I got a burger medium rare. My mom’s wings were really spicy and did not taste like mild. My dad said his grouper sandwich tasted like imitation grouper. Then with my burger, it came out medium and dry as can be. The waitress never came to see how our food was or refill out drinks. My dad had to go up there to get her attention then she tells us she was in the back after we all saw her talking to someone at the bar. I do not recommend coming here!! Horrible service and food!!

Good was terrible. Their mild sauce on the wings was burning even my husband who loves spicy food. I ate 3 wings and gave them back. My daughter’s burger was well done when it was ordered to be medium rare. They asked her if she wanted a new burger. I said no. Now she ate half of it because no one bothered to come check on us.My husband got a grouper sandwich and it tasted nothing like grouper. Almost like they are serving an imitation fish as grouper. The server (with blind shoulder length hair) has a piss-poor attitude. They never came to check on us after they brought the food.Management needs a better job of picking employees.I should have looked at the reviews before eating here.I will never return.

5 stars for service. Bartender and server both. The cheeseburgers were great and it's a fun laid back place to hang out and have a beer. Just traveling thru but if I wasn't, this would be my neighborhood place.

If you're tired of the corporate restaurants in Spring Hill, take a short drive north for fantastic food and service. Georgie served us with smiles and care. Very clean establishment, they got a game room and pool tables. Now, for the best part, the food. We had oysters Rockefeller and fresh fried mushrooms. Both were great. Fresh made salad, how often do you see that? Steak and shrimp and fish and chips for entres. The meals were just plain good. Also, all the sauces are made in-house. Well worth the short drive to enjoy a fine meal and service.

Had the same meal 3 times, clams over pasta. Each time it was prepared differently. Some ingredients were missing , different types of pasta. Bar tender disappears for extended periods. Ask if they had a certain item while discussing what to order. Turns out she over heard our discussion and when we were ready to order she informed us she already put the order in. Silverware was wrapped in the same paper towels that were in the men's restroom!

Not a lunch spot this is a bar spot. The menus is being redone and they were out of many items. The battered fish and chips were sad brown no golden crunch to them. They were out of fry's. I was looking for fresh fish and it was a bar with typical bar food. It was a bit depressing feeling. I was excited for a lobster roll or ahi neither were available. Not a fan.

Among other things, I think Fish Tales menu is overpriced considering the location and atmosphere. They're asking$14.99 (before tax or tip) for a cheeseburger & fries. I'm willing to pay that for a specialty burger or to enjoy a burger at a restaurant on a waterfront or one with an inspiring atmosphere. I thought the atmosphere here was dark and uninspiring. I didn't appreciate that the server made an off-hand political comment.I left without ordering food and went elsewhere.
