“The best authentic Italian food for miles around. Make a reservation, two weeks before you plan to go, Look over menu on-line before hand and your mouth will water and whatever you think you will choose you'll probably change your mind once you sit down and take in the atmosphere .“
“Sandwich was amazing. Got the 8in deluxe and only finished half. Saved the other half for later and it was still delicious. They had this pastry at the check out with ricotta and something citrusy and it was also super good. Cashier was friendly. They also have other goods to buy like pasta, olives, and other things.“
“I took a friend for pizza today, it was a fairly wonderful experience. Service was great out the gate, very attentive server, the pizza was delicious. she got the mushroom, I got the Riccardo! Then I spilled a glass of water all over the table. I cleaned it up best I could with the napkins on the table. The server came by at one point to check on us, I let him know I'd spilled water and cleaned it up as best I could. He said, no big deal it's raining outside. Never cleaned it up, even brought the check 15 minutes later and laid it next to and on the spilled water. Everything up until the spilled water was great. I just cannot wrap my head around the lackadaisical behavior, not only by our server but the other 2 servers who stopped by to check on us. Perplexed to say the least.“
“I tried many different things the at Frankie's and have never been disappointed by anything especially the Ardachok with ricotta cheese which was so heavenly it was like biting into a dream. The food here is so good I had my birthday hear. The picture does not do it a justice.“
“Italian deli with some delicious foods and generous portions. Not only do they serve sandwiches, paninis, wood fired pizza, but they do sell gelato and have assorted Italian desserts available for sale. The Frankie's special was delicious, a 9 inch sub with prosciutto, ham, mortadella, Genoa, provolone, spring mix, tomato, onion, roasted red pepper, giardiniera and dressing. Lots of flavors brought together for a very tasty sandwich. The only down side I had about the sandwich was there were quite a bit of oils so napkins are definitely a must. The Italiano Panini included, ham, Genoa, Cappy, spring mix, tomatoes, onions, roasted red peppers, artichokes, and dressing, along with the chips. The mozzarella sticks are homemade and quite cheesy, as they are made to order. The garlic bread is very plain but heavy on the garlic and cheese but is the way I prefer. Ended up trying some of the cookies and cake that they offer and it brought some good flavors, however the tiramisu tasted a little dry. Overall, not a bad place, definitely want to come back and try the pizza.Parking: Located in a strip mall so there's a decent amount of parking“
“I would definitely eat there again! We needed something quick and not too expensive and stopped in for some pizzas. Great outdoor seating, super-friendly staff, and yummy food. Couldn't see the ocean because it was dark, but we were able to walk over to the beach for a few minutes while we waited for our food. Also, the bathroom was amazingly clean, which I would not have expected from a place so close to the beach.“
“I can not say enough about Trattoria Bella! Our office used their catering for our Christmas party & everything was just amazing! Everyone raved about each dish. Julia the owner, was wonderful to work with. She answered all my catering emails very promptly and made great suggestions. I loved everything so much, I took my daughter there tonight for dinner. It’s the cutest little Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere. Our waitress was great & service was fast! Highly recommend checking them out!“
“Just had breakfast there today and it was a great experience. The owner (Raul) greeted us at the door and welcomed us to the diner. He also followed up with us after our meal. Wendy waited our table, not only did she provide great service, she was an excellent communicator. The breakfast was cooked in a reasonable time for a Sunday morning, was delicious and priced fairly. 5 out of 5 recommend you try La Loma for breakfast some time.“
“This is a consistently good place for a nice lunch. Four of us went on March 20. Kudos to the restaurant for providing a basket of bread to the table. The bread is fresh-baked, plentiful and irresistible. We ordered glasses of wine. The various house wines are good quality and come with a generous pour. Two of us had one of the specials _ fresh Atlantic flounder Francese-style with rice _ and it was absolutely superb. Perfectly prepared fillets, light and flavorful. The others at our table had eggplant parmesan and lasagna _ and enjoyed both. Dinner-sized portions on both. The staff wrapped our leftover bread to take home _ and added several more pieces. What a considerate gesture.“
“We each had pizza by the slice.Cheese, meat lovers, and pepperoni, olives and sausage. Made to order. And was Guaranteed that we would love it. Well we are it all. And even had room for some ice cream.Very friendly atmosphere.Small comedy show ? while ordering.??We loved the NY style pizza ?“
“Bacco Wine Cafe- Melbourne- 5 Stars When a restaurant has been in business for 18 years, I know one of two things. It's either the only restaurant in town, or it's the best. I am here to say that Bacco Wine Cafe in Melbourne is the latter of the two. The place is run by a husband and wife team, the husband, Loris, takes care of the front while his wife, Rafaella, runs the kitchen. As the place is reservation only, we were very fortunate and grateful that Loris gave us a table. He said we arrived early enough so it wouldn't be a problem. As my eyes began to devour the choices on the menu handed to us by Loris, I thought this was sure to be an amazing meal. However, our server, Jennifer had me briefly second guessing that assumption as she came across as a zombie. Or your typical 25-year-old. She was adequate enough as she got our order right but, really seemed to just go through the motions. I ordered a three-course meal consisting of Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese, the Veal Chop Alla Marsala and for dessert, I went with the Pere Cotte Al Vino Rosso. Jennifer was soon doing the zombie shuffle towards our table with a tray of culinary science concocted in the laboratory of Chef Rafaella, Ph.D. in foodology. As our gastronomical treasure was set before us, my sense of smell became overwhelmed with scrumptiousness. The odors spirling up from the plated art in wisps of steam would make a dead man salivate (which I found exceedingly ironic given the mortal condition of our server). My comestible journey began with the order of Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese. Sadly, this recipe has been hacked the world over. It has been reduced to "common" food status when in reality it was the dish of nobility as traditionally it consisted of beef and fresh cream, items not easily obtainable by the commoners. Chef Rafaella reminds everybody of the true origins of this dish by elevating it once again to noble standards. She starts by making her own pasta and finishes with the freshest cuts of prime meat around and tops it all off with a homemade Bolognese sauce that recalled to mind one of the nicknames of the city it hails from, "la grassa" or "the fat" in reference to the city's culinary mastery. After literally licking the plate clean (thatsa some sauce!), I directed my appetite towards the Veal Chop Alla Marsala. As my loyal followers know, this is my "barometer" for measuring a good Italian eatery. The Veal was obviously USDA Prime as it was so tender it practically melted on the palate. The mushrooms were fresh cut (YAY!) and Chef Rafaella really took it to the next level by using shaved garlic in her sauce. Served with riced garlic mashed potatoes and bedded atop a bevy of market fresh veggies this was truly a dish from a chef at the top of her game. However, Rafaella's chef-d'oeuvre this evening was her take on the classic Pere Cotte Al Vino Russo. What can I say about this delicious masterpiece of dessert? Was it perfect? Was it divine? Everything falls short. The pear was cooked unerringly to perfection and the red wine reduction sauce was out of this world. A dollop of fresh cream was the exclamation point to a fabulous meal. The Big Boy says, "What are you doing still reading this? Call Bacco and make a reservation. Now. Boun Appetito!!" #bigboydiningout #iamthebigboy“
“Great food, atmosphere and staff. Will not go anywhere else to eat pizza Stromboli, pizza, chicken parm. You are missing out I'd you don't try it.Parking: They are so popular you might have to look for a parking space but it is worth it.“
“The place is absolutely amazing relaxing and the family and staff are truly the best. Food is delicious and the pizza is better than back at home in New Jersey. Portions are huge and good wine. Try it you won’t be disappointed. 5 stars in my book“
“My wife and I grew up in New York city we live in Haines city Florida. To be honest, this pizza is incredibly good and close to authentic New York pizza ? the cheese, sauce, and crust was very good and must do if ever in the Melbourne Florida area. Thank you.“
“This place is awesome… ? Don’t let the outside fool you… The food and service is top notch. Once you sit down you feel like you could be in a small cafe in Italy ?? and the food definitely tastes like you are there. I have been in Cocoa Beach for almost 9 years, snd this Italian tavern is the best food in this whole area. I don’t take any picture's because I don’t take my phone when I sit down to dinner. This place is a true diamond in the rough. You will not be disappointed, also you need to make a reservation on the weekends.“
“Found this restaurant on way back from Dr. office, decided to take a chance. Food was very good, ordered eggplant parm., spaghetti dish, both were very good, we liked the sauce. Hubby is picky about his eggplant and said it was very close to his favorite. Food came with salad and some nice homemade garlic bread that was tasty. The staff was very kind, saw me coming with hubby in wheelchair, opened doors both in and out as well as sat us at table where it was easy to access. House wine was good as well, will go back when we are in the area.“
“I hadn't ever heard of Slices. I ordered on a whim from Uber Eats. Omg! Absolutely delicious! I grew up in NJ, surrounded by Italian Moms and Nonas. I know good when I taste it! And it doesn't even matter that I haven't been to the grocery store because this is enough food for a week!!! Thanks so much, Slices. This dinner tastes just like home.“
“My husband and I dropped in since we go to the florist next door. We ordered the chicken francaise and a stromboli. The salad was fresh and the waitress was professional in appearance and attentive. I was pleasantly surprised at the generous portions and flavoring of the food. We will definitely be back.“
“The pizza here is simply incredible! Great quality ingredients with a nice blend of seasonings. There is typically one server, who is so kind and attentive. The owner is also very nice. This place has been around for a long time and never disappoints!“
“I've read the reviews good and bad and decided to check this place out. We ordered the #7 which is a garlic, pepperoni and tomato pizza. We wanted to try bold strong flavors and it was good. Now let's deconstruct the pizza and explain the score. Crust: the crust was thin and had the bubbly dough which confirms that it was cooked in a wood-fire oven to generate the high heat to create those bubbles. That was excellent! The dough was crispy and as you bite into the pizza it had the perfect texture that you would expect from a pizza. This was the best pizza dough that I've had in Florida. Toppings: The cheese was perfectly distributed. There were spots of concentrated garlic patches and the pepperoni and tomatoes were evenly distributed. We did want the bold flavors to see how the pizza chefs would create this pizza. It was good but they could have watched the concentration of garlic patches. Next day: I reheated in a microwave (bc most folks would) and the pizza was still excellent. Life hack: I would recommend a frying pan with a little bit of oil on medium heat. It's the best reheat method besides a preheated oven at 500F for 3 min. The place was small very little seating and the folks working were very friendly when I picked up my pizza. The reason I didn't score a 5 was because I reserve 5s for the fine dining experience. 4 are good in their craft. 3 are average place. 2 are fast food. 1 over sold who they are and didn't deliver on experience (price, service and atmosphere) or just awful foods It's my opinion that this is probably the closet pizza that resembles NY style thin crust. Hands down my new favorite pizza place in Brevard. Give this place a try!“
