“We have always had amazing food and service there. We go at least once a week. In 3 years, I have never had a bad meal. They remember our regular meals and drinks.Parking: Many spots to park. Overflow area in the gravel.Kid-friendliness: We have taken my now 5yr old there and she loves visiting the waitresses. They remember us and make her feel special each time.”

“Taco Tuesday was surprisingly delish. Nice healthy tacos stuffed full. I got the Cuban sandwich to go for later. It is the authentic Cuban, much like the ones we used to get in Ybor City. Staff was friendly and helpful with menu choices. The prices are reasonable.Parking: It's located in a strip center so there's lots of parking”

“We drove an hour to eat here after seeing photos of their food and their reviews. When we initially pulled up we were a little skeptical as it was in a little shopping center. Let me tell you that this place was absolutely pho-nomenal! I thought about ordering more food to take home and I absolutely regret it! The flavor of the broth was so deep and it lingered after each bite, which we only had happen at one other place and the fried rice was perfection too! Highly recommend!”

“Food is excellent, albeit a bit pricey. Great chef, friendly owner. Waitress was on top of everything, making sure we were all doing well. From the warm and knowledgeable staff, to the finely curated supplements and foods, to the (you absolutely must try) mint chocolate chip protein smoothie, I always know that:1) I'm going to leave happier than when I arrived 2) I'm always happy with my purchases and staff recommendations.This trip, I was on a mission for a polyphenol-rich olive oil, and Karen recommended the olive oil pictured in my post. “Good local place, exceptional burgers. Been there numerous times and never had a bad meal. Plus all the waitresses are cute.... They don't serve hard liqour but have "wine" based liqours. Which are almost the same thing, but are considered to be "wine"”

“This place was so good! We are not from Florida and are staying nearby and wanted to try something for lunch and this just so happened to be the place! (Thank God!) The food was absolutely amazing, the service was so nice, not to mention it was all reasonably priced! We will definitely be back!”

“How refreshing to see a restaurant staff working as team to provide excellent service and cuisine to their customers! (It’s been a while) First impressions are important and the host made a great one! Opening the door and making us feel welcome immediately. We were seated and greeted promptly and with a smile. We had the Benedict Florentine, breakfast burrito and a side of cinnamon swirl pancakes. All were cooked perfectly and were delicious! From the front to the back all were buzzing around and helping one another like a well oiled machine. This place really has their ducks in a row and it shows.Thank you much for providing great food and service:)”

“Catfish & Frog legs were both tasty and fish nice and crunchy. Both meals prepared nicely. Portion size on the frogs smaller than expected. Service was friendly with a smile. The location was busy which is great and a wait line when leaving. It took longer than normal to get extra napkins, drinks, etc. I would recommend this restaurant located in Downtown Inverness. Time in/out longer than most restaurants in the area. Expect to enjoy the environment. Great selection of food and drink types.”

“Hen House Cafe has wonderful breakfast items. The wait staff are quick to keep your coffee mug filled. The Hens Benedict is wonderful with the eggs perfectly cooked.”

“This is a new restaurant with a lot going for it. The food and staff were good, and like anything else, there is room for growth. The biggest drawback is a very busy street that makes it a bit intimidating to gain access. However, it is worth checking it out, and I strongly recommend ordering the daily specials.Parking: There are about 12 spaces available next to this restaurant, but there is additional parking nearby.”

Try the huge pretzel and some of the many boars and take games there.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly.
