We are always greeted as family! Food is fresh. ONLY complaint is unnecessary plastic waste...especially for a beach town! We asked for NO straws but got 2. I asked for salad dressing on salad and NOT in a plastic side dish but was told impossible. I read US throws away 500,000,000 straws every day. Ridiculous..but more and more restaurants only give straws IF customers ask. At a JAX beach restaurant I saw no straws. I asked why. We ate breakfast. We had to reask for items we had told the waitress originally. Food was good but the waitress was busy and didn't ask if we needed anything more until we stopped her as she passed our table. Needed more coffee and a change in the toast requested (butter or not).We eat here once every trip to Mayport Naval Station.

Many places put too much salt in their biscuts & gravy. Not this place. Many places skimp on the gravy with their biscuts & gravy. Not this place, it's like they give you a big bowl of gravy with biscuts added. It's great. Their biscuts & gravy is second only to my mothers.
