“Took a friend here for a birthday dinner. We had the chef's tasting experience and accompanying wine pairing with Foie Gras added. It was a lovely, decadent meal in an intimate, candle-lit setting - a truly divine way to celebrate my friend for his birthday. The service was excellent and the food was all remarkable. The courses were filling and uniqueThey created such a memorable experience for us. Thank you to the "Rue Crew!"“
“This was our first time here and I would return. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and a cappuccino. The eggs could have been cooked a bit longer but that is a preference of mine. The outside dining was pleasant during nice weather but they were very busy and the tables sat dirty for longer than expected. This wouldn't have been an issue but they were so busy that people wandered looking for an available and clean table.I look forward to returning and trying other things.“
“This place is amazing! ? I have been several times and the food makes you want to come back again and again. I won’t go to France any time soon-maybe never- but I feel certain that I get a taste of Paris every time I eat here. Thank you, Le Petit!! ?? ?“
“Dined for lunch today. Food was delicious but our waitress was terrible. We have dined at M Brothers in the evening and both the food and service were outstanding. I know Medure is shooting for a M star and would hate to have a server blow it.Food 4 star. Service 1.“
“Had good experience but they need to rethink Cesar salad. Ordered one and asked for extra anchovies on the side. Server said they had none. I asked if they were in the dressing. Was told they used “Ken’s” dressing, like from Publix!! I passed on the salad. I think you should get more than this for your money.“
“Best restaurant in JAX.I’m a little bit of a fine dining snob. After moving to JAX, I’ve struggled to find good restaurants.Orsay is solid. If you’re used to fine dining, you’ll like it here. It’s “casualer” fine dining—French bistro casual—where the emphasis is really on the quality of food, drinks and service.First of all, the service… Tony is literally the BEST server I have had in JAX. Thank you for doing a proper mise en place. He’s professional, passionate about the food, knowledgeable about the menu. I could tell he fired food based on the pase of our table. Nailed it.Second, the details. My plate was hot, but not because it was sitting under a heat lamp, but because it was intentionally hot. I could tell that someone wiped my plate, because they take pride in what they’re serving. These two qualities sets this restaurant apart (unfortunately) from literally every other “fine dining” restaurant I’ve tried so far in JAX.Third, they have foie gras, and it was excellent. They have duck confit. This is the type of restaurant where I’m sure there’s a giant tub of duck feet in the back. It’s legit confit. And it tasted like that. Props to the chef. So, if you’re a foodie. Come here. Eat the “weird” food on the menu, so that the chef has an audience for cool specials.“
