I had higher expectations when we came. Food was ok but they were out of some of the sides and they didn’t have any ice for soft drinks

I took my wife there for lunch, and it we're the worse experience I ever had, when I order my food I informed the cashier not to have the cook not put certain ingredients on my hamburger, but when I my food they pu t everything on it,so I informed them I were allergic to these items, they took it back, and re did it,and for the second time they put the same items again, they did not here one word I said not do,I we're so disappointed, because the owner, fix it the way he want to,he didn't hear nothing I said, customer service stink,I will never go there again.

This restaurant has great tasting burgers. They even have gluten free buns. Adding gluten free fries to the menu would be good.

Everyone has an off day from time to time and when I visited JJHOF recently it was an off day for them. My wife and I went after church with our Pastor and his wife to JJHOF. We had a party of 6 so it took a while to get our food, no problem. When the food arrived it was barely warm and items were missing from our order that were never delivered to our table after reminding the staff. Our 17 and 23 year old son's gobbled up the food but the temp of the food and our order not being completed was a disappointment and we left the restaurant looking for a new place to have our after church meal.

Excellent food, wonderful service. The Caribbean Chicken sandwich is very tasty. The staff is friendly and very efficient with service. Definitely a new go to spot for downtown.

Have three gift certificates to use by the end of the year...drove up to a for lease sign. Not surprised as the staff was getting thinner and business seemed slower of late.

We live in Pennsylvania and were visiting family in Jacksonville, FL who suggested Jumpin'Jax for lunch after church. The menu was extensive with reasonable prices. I ordered the Caribbean Chicken Salad which had a variety of fresh greens, vegetables and the grilled chicken breast was very flavorful. It was just yummy and the portion so large that I took some of it home to enjoy later. My husband enjoyed one as well. Our family members had sandwiches and fries and they ejoyed them as well. The most unusual thing was when you place your order you receive a card with an unusual phrase printed on it. When the food is ready, the server carries it through the dining area calling out the phrase until the customer signals where they are sitting. It was just a fun twist on serving. I wish there was a Jumpin' Jax in my neighborhood. We would be regular customers.

Post Thanksgiving and tired of turkey, so we decided a burger sounded good. Did a quick Yelp! search for the area we were in, and saw JJHoF was highly rated. Pulled in to parking lot and immediately became concerned they might not be open...Lots of open parking spaces. Sign on their door says Sunday 11-2, it was only 1pm so I put it in park and decided to give them a try. Two couples ahead of us in line. A few tables had large groups. One of the tables had a birthday cake, and maybe a dozen attendees. Cashier was also the server, and acted like the manager too. (Triple duty, gotta respect that during these times.) Kitchen had 2 cooks. And a fella came out with a cart to get dishes every so often, so 1 dishwasher. Oh speaking of dishes, that was a surprise to us - HoF uses actual ceramic dishes. Not plastic plates, plastic baskets, nor metal tins. Traditional (vintage??) cafeteria styled, breakable, plates. It actually made us wonder why more restaurants aren't using them to help cut down on the spread of germs? You can sanitize dishes really well with a good commercial dishwasher. Just a random thought :-) The ambiance and menu reminded us of two of our Texas favorite burger places - Twisted Root and Hop Doddy. JJHoF in addition to creative gourmet hamburgers & salads, also has hot dogs and pizzas on their menu. Order at the counter, choose your eating spot, and a server brings you your order. They give you a card with a funny "name" and call that out to locate where you are sitting. It took only about 15 minutes for our burgers to be brought to our table. I ordered the "Air Thang" Burger with a side of their seasoned chips. No modifications. The burger patty had good flavor, cooked a perfect medium as requested. There is a lot of gourmet flavors on the Air Thang that blended nicely, nothing stood out as the "star", the entire burger was the show. It is a large burger, I took half home for my son. He said it was really good, even after being refrigerated and microwaved 4 hours later. Hubby ordered the Smokehouse Burger with a double patty, no tomato. He must of been starving because he ate the entire burger and most of his fries! In between bites he said it was really good :-) JJHoF is a bit of drive for us, but if we are in the area again, and hungry, we will definitely stop in for a burger!

We used to love this place, but the last several times we went we had a terrible experience. It’s always packed and yet no one has food. Also, I understand sometimes bringing out a small child food ahead of time, but bringing individual meals out LITERALLY one at a time truly takes away from the dining experience. It’s also clearly confusing for the staff. They are wasting time running meals one at a time and constantly checking ALL the tickets.

The food is absolutely phenomenal! Try the Duval Burger when you go. You won't be disappointed.

Great place!!! Awesome customer service! Good food with gluten free options too. Our homeschool group of at least 40 visited during lunch and had a good experience, better than expected! Definitely recommend this place.

Tasty food, a bit salty but overall it was very good. The server was nice and offered lettuce wrap for someone in my party who didn't eat bread.

This place has gone downhill the past few years. Their burgers used to be the best in town, but it's been disappointing the last few times. Service was so poor the last time we went; they gave us over $30 in gift cards (mainly charging us for milkshakes when their machine was broken and they didn't bring our my kids foods). I'll have to try the beach side location because I miss how their burgers were but this location just stinks!

Food is usually good but staff seems eager to leave. When I arrived 20 minutes before closing on Sunday the chairs were being put up already, and patrons appearing to be ushered out. They seemed upset as well saying "they close at 2 but I guess they are closing early". Then when I asked the lady informed me I couldn't have pizzas or a drink but I could order grill items and get them "to go". I intended on getting to go but the unwelcoming atmosphere and eagerness to be gone was heavy. I said "'never mind". Word of advice, when you tell the workers the restaurant closes at two let them know they won't leave until 3 because clean up should start at 2 and all food should be available until 2pm. Won't be coming back. This is the first time back after months of not eating here and this just shows me I should stay away.

1st timer aliitle disappointing. No root beer, or shakes. However, we were welcomed heartily and explained the process of ordering. Also like the fact the server poured my beer in the glass, top service. To be continued after we are served and begin to eat.....We will see if this stacks up to other burger chains or if Jumping Jax is gourmet deluxe? Let me tell you, gourmet all the way. The server brought our burgers out, just the way we like em. French fries were steamy. The cheese from the Duval was oozy and oh so good. I've heard alot of things about Jumping Jax...Well it is Jumping and that is a fact!
