First time in, the guy helped me decided what to have. I tried the browned stewed chicken and the fried chicken with rice and beans, cabbage and a plantain. That was the best stewed chicken I've ever had. Nice and fresh and came out fast. Will be going back!!! Check it out!!!

Food here is amazing. Don't sleep on this place. Their rating is well deserved. Even the sides had a great consistency. The rice was cooked perfectly and cabbage retained a light crunch. I dislike coconut but the way they blended it in gave the food a creamy buttery texture with a notes of sweetness. The restaurant is clean and has alot of open space. It's very inviting and the cook and staff were great. He came out to check on us personally to see what we thought of the food.
I have only been to three Jamaican restaurants in Jacksonville BUT this is BY FAR the best food I have eaten! When the bones of the curry goat has as much flavor as the meat... unheard of to me but this was my experience tonight. The 2nd best experience besides the amazing food was talking and laughing with the owner! If the customer service is not comparable to the food, the experience is a waste...but not this place! This was an amazing treat to myself and will go again very soon.
