“We just went on this cruise this week and it was amazing. We had trouble swimming on the beach by the resort but this was the perfect way to get more time swimming in the ocean. The captains Bartels and Joey made it such a fun time with the music and hosting on the boat. The boats are well maintained and I felt safe having the kids on there. We were 4 adults and 6 kids on 2 boats and usually I’m water anxious, but I felt completely safe taking the younger kids on the boats. They travel at a pace that feels fun but also relaxed in a good way. Totally worth the money-it felt affordable and I feel we got a lot for the price-We would do it again.”

“Harriette's Restaurant Bayside, Mile Marker 95.7 Key Largo, FL 33037 4 Stars Stopping for some morning chow at Harriette's Restaurant in Key Largo should be a requirement for everyone traveling down the Overseas Hwy exploring the vast beauty of the Keys. However, once again, my taste buds are ahead of my fingers and I get ahead of myself. As I entered Harriette's Restaurant, I was immediately transported back to my Grandmother's house on the Sebastian River. Not only was the outside reminiscent of a bygone era, the décor ; screamed mid-century time capsule, however, it was the scents assaulting my olfactory orifice that had me looking for my favorite chair at Grandma's table. This may be in the Keys, but I am confident that it ain't no tourist trap. Christina was my server for the meal and was exemplary in every way. She began her service with a sincere, warm Southern greeting, making all her customers feel like family. We are in Grand Ma-Ma's house, after all. I asked my new favorite second cousin twice removed on my mother's brother's babysitter's side for a stack of Pancakes, an order of their Corned Beef Hash, two eggs over medium, Sausage Biscuit, hash browns, and one more biscuit as they looked so good. While I didn't try one, If you take a peek at the pics, you can see that they have quite a panoply of muffins and are well known for them. Christina soon returned with our Southern viands, and I eagerly got to work. Have I mentioned the aromas disseminating about the place? I slapped some butter on the stack of fresh-off-the-griddle Johnny Cakes, poured some real maple syrup over the top and plopped a forkful in my mouth. The cakes were warm, fluffy and delicious. Nothing beats a flapjack right off the griddle with real maple syrup. Nothing. However, I wasn't here to enjoy sampling their delectable delights; I was on a mission to bring you raw, unadulterated food reviews. To that end, I turned my fastidious palate to the Corned Beef Hash before me. This was quite good. I don't think it was made in the back, as the cut was too uniform for most line cooks. If it was food service Hash, at least it wasn't bottom-of-the-truck stuff. It was flavorful and cooked to perfection. My eggs were cooked correctly, the hash browns were obviously made fresh to order and the sausage gravy was spot on. Finally, the biscuit was not only gigantic; it was obviously made with love and pure devotion to the obvious -- care. Is this place going to win a James Beard award? No. Is it my new favorite place for breakfast in the Keys? Maybe. I know one thing for sure: Harriette's Restaurant is an excellent breakfast for a splurge vacation to the Florida Archipelago. The Big Boy says, “Enjoy the homemade grub and if you try a muffin, please let me know!””

“Doc’s Diner Key Largo 4-30-25 Stooped by for breakfast on Wednesday about 7:15 am. They were not that busy and we got a table right away. Our Waitress brought the coffee fast and we ordered our food right there. The waitress was very nice and so friendly and checked on us many times. I ordered the Country Fried Steak with Sausage Gravy, Hash Browns and 2 eggs over easy. My wife ordered 2 Eggs over easy with Toast. My dad ordered Sausage Gravy over biscuits. Our ordered came out fast and looked very good. All our food as hot and tasty. When we were done, we were full as they piled up our plates with plenty of food. I give this place a 4 out of 5 stars. When I’m in Key Largo I will not hesitate to go back here. Make sure you stop by as when we left it was full of locals. “My family and I were headed on our way out of The Keys. We were looking for waterfront with some good reviews. We were so surprised to find this hidden gem. From start to finish, all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The outdoor dining is creative with little water fountains and cute decor. The food was some of the best and freshest we found in the Keys. My husband loved the ribs, said they were “on point”. My sisters fish tacos were so fresh ..they had to have caught it that morning!? She raved about it. I have to say that my salad was one of the freshest I’ve ordered at a Seafood restaurant. Props to our waiter Steven, he was refreshingly funny and exceptionally attentive even though they were very busy. Some of the best service I’ve ever had to be honest! I don’t know how this place isn’t 5 stars? People Need to rate when it’s great too!! We will definitely be back!”

“My wife and I were expecting the normal overpriced resort patio with normal iffy food. Thankfully, the Palm Court was not this. First, the pricing was perfectly reasonable. But more importantly, the food was really tasty. We ate lunch and I ordered a shake and fish tacos with waffle fries and they were both simply delicious. If you are staying at ORC, this is an excellent lunch spot.”

“We stayed at the Playa Largo resort for 10 nights in early December. Each morning we had the breakfast buffet, which was one of the most comprehensive and best breakfast buffets we ever had. Service was extraordinary. Among our fantastic servers were Paul, Greg, Winsome and Judith. And each morning Fritz made amazing omelettes that he personally delivered to the table.

The ambiance both inside and on the patio outside is very nice. We really enjoyed each breakfast. 5 stars for food, service, and atmosphere.

Dinner, unfortunately, was a different story, which is why we had dinner here only twice. The first time we ordered chicken parm, which had a nice sauce but chicken that was very tough to chew, and center cut salmon, which was prepared nicely. However the second time the salmon was a tail cut and just didn't taste right. The pepperoni pizza was tasty, though nothing like what we get at home in NJ. 5 stars for service and atmosphere, but 3 for food.

Bottom line: A wonderful place for breakfast, but not the best for dinner.”

“They were very packed during the first day of of the lobster event where it was 20 bucks for the meal. They were so busy and and the workers continue to keep up with the very hot heat. This was my family‘s first time going out there. We going out there again on Sunday because we enjoyed the music and the food was great. The pricing for the lobster meal was a good price.”

“Visited Sharkeys this past Sunday and had a great time. It’s like a sports dive bar that had TVs around the whole place which was great for us since we came to watch the UM game. I will say our visit started off a bit crazy cause our server had to throw people out for yelling and cursing at her about a tv she couldn’t change. From what we heard the people wanted her to change a tv but another table was watching it and they were there first so she couldn’t change it. And I totally get wanting to watch the tv closest to you but the game was on two other TVs and it’s not the servers fault that someone else wanted to watch something different. Other than that our food and drinks were amazing and our server was very nice and attentive even with all the craziness that happened. We ate wings, chicken sliders, and the Baja bowl with shrimp and everything was delicious. I would definitely come back to watch some more football games.”
