Our first Benihana experience took place in Key West. Seating at the famed hibachi tables had a two-hour wait so since the weather was beautiful, we thought we would sit outside facing the water. Our server, Matt, was welcoming and offered recommendations. I had the tasty Spicy Hibachi shrimp while my daughter opted for the Shrimp Yakisoba. Our meals were amazing: perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was a great way to end our trip with one flaw: midges. Those little bites stung and interrupted what was a great dinner.

we enjoyed our experience here as normal. the manager offered us free drinks and appetizers for our inconvenience of slow service due to high volume of customers. our chef was hilarious and cooked our meals to perfection
It was a great first experience for my group. This was their first hibachi experience and were confused by the menu at first. I did my best to explain in the time we had to order. However the waitress was busy with other customers leaving and was very patient and understanding, as were we. However, the waitstaff and chef were very friendly and helpful and engaged the whole table. The air conditioning was a bit high so we were cold, but again that's on us for dressing in summer clothes during a cold evening.

Food was mediocre. I have had better and cheaper food. 150$ for two people is outrageous! Their assigned seating makes me feel like I'm in elementary school. My husband asked for the check and some to-go boxes and the server tried telling him that someone would be coming around to collect everyone at the same time.. Haha! My husband let him know that was not happening. We are not children, and we had other places to be. Then I get an email 7 days later stating sorry your reservation was not eligible for points... HAHA ... we will never be going again.
The food was fantastic and cooked to order. The server was attentive and the chef was excellent. He knew his craft. You don't always get to pick your table mates, so it's good to meet new people. The restaurant seemed like the tables were too close together. That would be the only recommendation I have is to possibly space them out a little more.

We use to go twice a month to eat there with no reservation no problem now you can not even get take out cause they are always "busy" we went today and they were only two tables been use and they told us we have to wait 2 hours to get seated I'm writing this comment just so the owner finds out what's happening and this is not the first time either.

Everything was great until my credit card contacted me to verify if I left a 33% tip…looks like someone helped themselves to more than I authorized…not cool. Will not be coming here again, hope it was worth it! ?

Fantastic place! Our server Joselyn was amazing, magically appearing just when you wanted something. Super helpful with drinks, the menu and even some recs for local hot spots and beautiful sunsets. Chef Nacho dazzled us with his skills before silencing us with delicious food. Thanks for such a great dining experience.
What can one say? This classic experience never fails. We took one of the set dinners. Plenty of food and very tasty. The show from our chef was just great. He took great delight in crashing & spinning his knives & spatula. Drawing harts with the rice etc.

I wish I could give a better review. We were seated with a group that clearly were frequent customers. They knew the server and were talking back and forth. We placed our initial order and received soup, salad and appetizers in a reasonable amount of time. Then, we sat there for over an hour before a chef came to the table. He was the one bright spot. His name was Kiko. He was fantastic. High energy but very polite and respectful. But I felt like we were afterthoughts at the table. While the server was quickly refilling their drinks, it took 3 asks for almost everything we wanted. I specially booked Benihana for our 24th anniversary yet it was hardly acknowledged and only by the fabulous chef. No other management or staff. We left after paying our $170 bill feeling let down.
