“Checked out this busy restaurant on a Sunday. Live music (the duo was not good, couldn't keep a beat!) on the patio. Food was delicious!! Service was excruciatingly slow!!! We had finished our first round of drinks before our order was taken, thats a bit too long....we were considering leaving. The other not good part....we were seated on the patio and two ladies kept trying to smoke!!! There were signs posted on the tables and yet these two old hags would pull out cigarettes every time no servers were around!!! I feel they should have been made to leave, since they were "caught" more than once by staff!!!“
“Like the waterfall flowing into the swimming pool. Swimming pool is for priority members only. Nice restaurant. Country music is played some nights. Challenging 18 hole Golf course from multiple tee boxes. Mature golf course has some of the tightest fairways to hit from the tee boxes in The Villages, FL.“
“I came here twice this past week, the service was slow and took a while both times to get seen, my 2nd time I had to ask somebody if they forgot about us which, as a server myself felt weird but the food was 10/10 both timesI had bbq wings and a skillet cookie for dessert“
“Nice bar. We had wings and ribs, both were outstanding. Sides were chips and beans and rice. They too were outstanding. However, Hope made our first visit amazing. We will be back.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap accessible ramps were available to use.“
“This is a cool little Oyster Bar. We stopped with 4 adults and a 20 month old after spending the day on the Harris Chain fishing and cruising. The beer was cold and the food was great. We shared fried oysters, frog legs, raw oysters and fried shrimp. It was all very good. Our waitress paid special attention to our little guy in the group bringing him some fries and garlic bread before we even ordered. He was happy. The place is a little rustic. Don’t expect a spotless and polished place, but it was clean and the food and drinks were good. We dropped $125 for the 4 of us with a couple beers. Will be back.“
“Little place just a couple tables. Built for take out. I like local businesses and this is def the kind you support. Fantastic food. Best garlic knots in a 6 hr drive. Wings are full of flavor. Pizza the crust is a lil doughy. If that’s your type then it’s great. I haven’t had the thin crust but I’ll be trying that next. They put a bunch of toppings on. They don’t skimp. I had a three topping and it come to us steaming out of the box. Bunch of toppings . And a dusting of parm to finish. I’m not a huge crust eater but I finished all mine. Got a smores cookie and it’s too good. Pricing is very fair. My mom got a supreme the veggies on it had a good char from the oven. They have weekly specials. Worth driving out of the way for.“
“There was no food truck the day we visited. But we sat at the bar and had a few drinks. The bartender was very pleasant and other patrons at the bar were friendly. And draft beer was $1.50! Possibly a 10 ounce pour, but $1.50! Don't expect fancy. The floors are plywood and the atmosphere is rustic. But cheap beer, friendly people and music several nights a week. And food trucks, if you time it right.“
“We went there for Valentine’s Day dinner and everything was great. Our server, Arial, was very attentive , professional and pleasant. I had Blackened Tuna and my wife had the two lobster tails and everything was prepared perfectly and delicious. We had Calamari as an appetizer and it could have been a larger portion but it was very good.“
“They held a benefit for me here as I have stage 4 colon cancer. I was really surprised and touched at how many of the "regulars" participated in the benefit and donated money. I haven't drank in about 5 years but if I ever started again this is a bar that I would definitely be comfortable and happy drinking in. Just really down to earth“
“Great new village, Sawgrass Grove. Nice younger vibe (50s/60s). Market is nice w bakery, ☕️, meat ? store etc...Seating inside/out with bandstand and music nightly. Walking trails, pool, Beautiful newer community. No grocery store nearby that I could find though. I heard they will still be adding stuff here. I love TV. Everyone has their opinions but I ❤️ all TVs squares and neighborhoods! Only downfall is bad driving by the Golden oldies & the roundabouts ( you'll see when you buy or visit!)“
“One of many great spots to grab a bite, a cool drink, and listen to some live entertainment. This place has an outdoor food truck, a bar serving beer, wi e, and some assorted canned beverages. All seating is outside, but mostly shaded. Right next to a chip and putt golf course. Nice setting, good food and service.“
“This was a pleasant surprise. We weren't expecting anything great being in a strip mall along the highway, but it turned out to be great food and drinks. The flavors of the chile relleno, enchilada, chalupa, and quesadilla were amazing. The margarita was also very good. We will definitely visit this restaurant again.“
“Interesting stop on a motorcycle ride, bartender was very helpful with information and discussion. Even though it's a historical place they could step up the game a little maybe serve some kind of food. They would probably get a lot more business. Other than that interesting Florida history.“
“I always have a good time here. The employees are nice, the patrons are welcoming, the drinks are cold. Great place for darts. They also have karaoke on Friday nights. It's a friendly place open for nearly 100 years(!) and seems to be an integral part of the surrounding neighborhood.“
“Very down to earth, the servers are real, and friendly.I have not tried everything on the menu but the blackened wings and crab fries are good. Our server was on point and friendly, also watch which days you try to go because it is very popular among the locals and gets pretty packed.Would recommend.“
“First visit was a check in. This place is wonderful. Liz , Wukie , Charlie & of course Rose( the biz pup) are the people i've met. Friendly, Informative, Fun with a fabulous stock of all kinds of good stuff. Something for most everyone. lookin for relief from pain & stress? They probably have just what you need. Topicals, chewables, or smokeables. Highly recommend this beautiful little "hippie" joint. Didn't take any pics.. maybe next visit???“
“Looks like such a hole in the wall off the Highway. It's such a cool dive bar. I've only been once but we met some really neat interesting people. I'd go back. Dark, dive and smoky but definitely was up my alley that night. Has a pool table and the bartender was super friendly.“
“The outdoor bar has plenty of seating but is close to other tables. I enjoyed that because it allowed me to socialize with others easily! The water view is an added bonus. Jersey Frank was the musician, and he played a wide variety of upbeat familiar songs. It was very enjoyable! On both visits, the food was good, but the service was top-notch!“
“THE DAMN BIRDS!!!! THEY DRIVE YOU NUTS ? ? ? ??️ it's a very nice place with a section on the side for kids to play in the sand by the lake..food is pretty good, SECOND TIME THEY HAD NO ALLIGATOR ?!!? THE place is literally called Gator Joe's and Gator is all over the menu as "Chefs Favorite" this "Chefs Favorite" that and it's all about the ?, They gave us the wrong food, the girl was nice just didn't check her food when it came out..if you turn your head for a second a bird will swoop in and steal a fry, it's funny for a second but then it gets really annoying, they are probably protected or they just can't figure out how to keep them away and it's all good when the sun is out, the drinks are flowing so on and so forth...I'm not bashing them because I just love the place so much, just order more Gator!!!!!Parking: Easy to Park!!!!Kid-friendliness: Fun for the kids as pictured!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of ramps!!!“
“I stumbled upon this cozy restaurant one evening, looking for a place that offered both great food and a lively atmosphere, and I was not disappointed. The moment I walked in, the warmth and charm of the place struck me. It felt like stepping into a friend's inviting dining room, complete with the buzz of conversation and laughter. The menu caught my eye with its array of American classics, each with a unique twist that promised a culinary adventure. The live entertainment was the cherry on top. It turned what could have been just another dinner into a truly memorable experience, adding a vibrancy that's hard to find elsewhere. The staff were incredibly welcoming, treating me like an old friend rather than just another customer. My meal was delightful, from the first bite to the last, and the ambiance made me linger longer than I had planned. It was the perfect blend of casual comfort and refined dining, making me eager to return. This place isn't just about eating out; it's about enjoying every moment, surrounded by good vibes and even better company.“
“I just discovered this restaurant in my area. And even though I wasn't very hungry. I did wanna try a side of white rice with red beans and mofongo. And I will definitely say the mofongo was great! The portion for the rice and beans could have been bigger The service was nice. The place was clean and the food was hot.I will definitely return“
