“The food overall was great. We had delicious pulled pork sandwich, bbq chicken sandwich, rack of ribs. Awesome. The side dishes were just okay. The service was slow. We sat, patiently, easily over15 minutes before someone acknowledged us to get our drinks . We ordered dinner at same time. I was getting hangry. But maybe we just timed it wrong. I will go back and hopefully not have to wait 15-20 min just to be acknowledged by a wait staff person.“
“We will definitely be back here! The food was delicious and the meat was so tender and flavorful. Prices are great for the portions they provide. Sweet tea was not too sweet and delicious. The inside is a little small for the amount of people that come in but we were seated rather quickly and it wasn't too crowded once we sat down. The male waiter that served us was super busy and working so hard but he was very attentive and kind.“
“Oakwood offers a great combination of ribs, barbecue, and comfort food like corn fritters and mac-n-cheese. I had a really great rack of ribs. The food was served surprisingly quickly, and Lisa gave exceptional service. Prices are reasonable, and the restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend, and I am sure we will be back.“
