This hotels Accounting Department has a major problem in responding to accounting/billing inquiries opened, when an identity theft and fraudulent use of credit card occurs. On October 6th of 2023 a inquiry was open in regards to an identity theft and fraudulent use of credit card, the system replied that accounting would reply within 2 business days. It is November 17th, 2023 and still have not heard back from accounting department after multiple attempts to get their attention. Calling the hotel directly is of no help, everyone I talked to can not get me to someone to help resolve the fraudulent credit card charges. Letters to Accounting Manager or the Area General Manager also have not affect. Very frustrated victim of identity theft and fraudulent use of credit card.

This was our favorite bar at Swan Reserve. Austin was great and brought our drinks to us poolside. We had several orange crushes and tangerine whips throughout our trip. The Tangerine Whip was amazing!!

Very nice Hotel. But check your invoice before leaving the Hotel. I made the mistake of checking out quickly and asked for an email statement. When I later checked my invoice I saw that they charged me for parking for three days, but I had no vehicle to park. I emailed them to ask for a credit but they said they were unable to remove the charge as I could not prove I had no vehicle.

Very nice hotel and helpful staff. However, the destination fee is just beyond rediculous. It includes "amenities" like the swan boats and the transfer boats to and from the parks. "Perks" that ANYONE - not even staying at any of the nearby resorts - were using for free. - and the hotel charge 40$ a day, whether you use the 40 bucks or not. I have been forced to pay the rediculous Marriott destination fees before - but this was nothing short of insane, and such a blatant a rip-off. Why not add: "Using the public bathrooms", "Enjoying the view from the room", "Comfortable seating in the restaurant" etc. as additional perks? Not even parking was part of the "perks", included in the destination fee. Shame on you Marriott.

My initial impression was not positive and I was disappointed and shared my concerns with the Manager on Duty, Dyshawn. He made me feel seen and heard and turned our vacation around and should be promoted yesterday. They were fully booked and my room wasn’t ready until after 4p and it caused delays in our dinner and childcare plans. But were able to use Suite Night Awards and were upgraded to a Chairman Suite that was beautiful and ended with a great time. The kids loved the Mickey waffles at breakfast and it was easy to get to Epcot or Hollywood Studios. Thanks to Chris and Saumia at breakfast at Amare for being so kind with all my requests and thanks again Dyshawn! We look forward to visiting again.

Basic, clean with great service from the staff. It was very much a family hotel with a Disney theme/feel to it. I would recommend it for a family stay, the rooms were spacious and clean and all of the communal areas were immaculate. I’m less convinced I would want to share my family holiday with people on work conferences, which I was. It gave the hotel an odd identity/feel so not sure I would stay if a corporate event was on at the same time.

Recently stayed 5 nights at the WDW Swan Reserve. Booked my stay on Bonvoy points, which was a huge bonus for staying on Disney property. All the perks of a Disney deluxe hotel applied at this Marriott hotel. The hotel is conveniently located between Epcot and Hollywood Studios and was easy to get to each park by the Friendship ferry boats. The service was excellent during my stay, every staff member from Valet to Bell services to the front desk and especially House Keeping was friendly and responsive to my needs. I was upgraded to an Epcot view room upon check in and the room was spacious and very clean, the view of the fireworks at Epcot was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had a handheld with an additional rain head with good water pressure. The breakfast buffet at Amare was very good and our server was great. I also received the late check out I requested. I was very satisfied with my stay but there were a few downsides to my experience. The small pool and poolside outdoor bar on the 3rd floor of the hotel was closed during my stay. We were able to use the Dolphin Grotto Pool across the street which made up for the disappointment. At check in we were advised that guests could see the fireworks at Epcot from the Vue, the rooftop event center on the 15th floor but then told it was closed for an event, not sure why it was mentioned only to be told it would not be available. The only other bad experience we had was returning from Hollywood Studios by ferry boat and trying to return to the hotel. The walkway that guests of the Swan Reserve need to use to get from the boat dock to the hotel was closed for a large convention dinner event, leaving no good way to get back to the hotel. We had to find a small sidewalk up against the Swan hotel building for most of the way then had to "crash" this formal event in our shorts and t-shirts to get back. I know that the convention business is a big part of the Swan and Dolphin hotels but there needs to be a better solution to this issue!

Stayed here recently while on a girls trips. We stayed at the Dolphin last year and wanted to try this location out. We didn’t need the theming as it was just the moms and no kids this trip. The price was not bad considering we were there for part of the holiday weekend. One thing I don’t like with these hotels is they do charge a $45/day resort fee. Other than the bottles of water in the room we didn’t use any of the amenities. The first two days the pool was closed, we already received free Wi-Fi as Marriott members and the other offerings we weren’t interested in. The hotel is beautiful. Everything is fresh and new. Def a more adult oriented hotel. Which for us was a nice escape. If you want Disney theming this hotel doesn’t have it. There’s a very nice sitting area that you can enjoy a snack or drink. We never had trouble finding a good seat. We really didn’t eat at the hotel so I can’t comment on that other than a morning coffee and yogurt. There is a full sit down restaurant on site. Staying at this hotel you do share the sister hotels amenities which is a short walk away. The rooms were very nice. We stayed in a Double Queen Hollywood Studios room. Plenty of room. There’s a keurig coffee maker and small fridge. A safe is also provided. My only complaint would be there’s very limited drawer space if you like to unpack. There’s two small deep drawers and a small shallow drawer. For the two of us on a short trip it was fine. If I was staying with my family for a week it wouldn’t be enough. The bathroom is restocked daily with toiletries and fresh towels. There is no lack of usb plugs in this room which is nice to see. I would def recommend this resort and return.

Let me start by saying I am not a ‘Huge’ Disney fan. I have gone for the kids and at the end of the day truly appreciate a quiet, refined hotel. The Swan Reserve is that for me. I am a Marriott member and make it a point to stay in a Marriott brand whenever possible. For me, the location of this hotel is perfect, walk to Epcot (and the skyliner), the Boardwalk, and Hollywood Studios. I have stayed here twice and reserved a suite with Epcot view, which is amazing, especially, if you are not a late nighter and appreciate seeing the fireworks from your room at 9PM. My daughter is in her mid teens and this is a perfect set up for us. The lobby bar is fantastic, you can grab a burger, salad, quick dinner or there is also a restaurant. Alternatively, you can easily walk to the Swan and Dolphin. This hotel is likely not for everyone, if you have small kids and are visiting Magic Kingdom, then you would likely do better at a MK resort. As others have mentioned, the vibe of this hotel is more of a Westin than a Disney hotel. There is no loud Disney music in the lobby, no characters and I would say much more on the adult and older kid side than younger ones. If you are looking for a resort that gives you a break for the energy and craziness of Disney this is your place! Also, absolutely immaculately cleaned and like new. In terms of cleanliness and quality of appointments, this is one of best in the Marriott chain. I will be back, assuming my kids drag me to Disney again.

There are many highlights to the swan reserve but it’s important to note that if you are looking for the full real Disney experience, this is not it. It feels like a nice Marriott and that’s it. First off, don’t be confused about “suites”. They have one bedroom with a living area and no full kitchen. They will provide adjoining rooms but no real suite like other Disney hotels. When you book via phone the Disney employees seem confused about this Check in is at 4. Our rooms weren’t ready until 5 and that was with a lot of badgering on our part. The staff, in general, lacked the friendliness and positive attitude of other Disney hotels. Also the hotel, and this really isn’t important, didn’t have any Disney art or Mickey soaps or any of the fun things that make staying on the property so wonderful The upside…about a mile walk to Epcot, easy to park, very nice pool more suited for adults and a decent restaurant. You also have access to swan and dolphin as well. Also, and this was a big one, you can’t charge items to the room in the parks or at Disney restaurants. Because they aren’t technically a Disney property, that ease of charging back is lost. So overall it’s fine but save the dough and stay outside of Disney at a property like a Hyatt that would be exactly the same. Or, spend the extra and stay at an actual Disney hotel

First, the highlights: - Just completed a 3 night points redemption night here (Lifetime Platinum) , and we were upgraded to Epcot view rooms - the view is epic, we were lying in bed watching the fireworks - We were given a surprise cupcake and balloon for my daughter's birthday which made her day - Everything is sparkly and new, with a definite touch of luxury and made our stay feel really indulgent - The Grotto pool across the road at the Swan/Dolphin is huge and we loved cooling off there, it certainly can take crowds easily Now the niggle: - $40 a day resort tax PLUS $32 parking is rather steep, especially when considering that the SR pool was out of action for the entire stay (we had to cross the road for the other hotels), the 15th floor with the view and bar was closed, and the self parking never let us in or out with our room keys (3 new sets) so we had to call for help every time - people seemed really inflexible - I received 3 x Platinum breakfast vouchers for me and 1 guest, so that would make 6 breakfasts. As I was travelling with husband and young daughter, I thought it could cover us for 2 mornings, but no, we had to use 2 vouchers (ie for 4 people so in effect wasting 1 person) on the first day and then pay a child's breakfast the next day, choosing to eat elsewhere on the final day. Having just stayed at the Hampton Inn prior to here, where the staff were unbelievably accommodating, I was a bit surprised at this....especially as my child would eat about 1 bowl of Cheerios and an apple. - there are so many conventions/private parties going on with areas closed off at the Swan/Dolphin that make you feel like an inconvenience. Hoards of adults let loose on an expenses paid trip away stagger around the lobby, every restaurant was overrun despite drinks/food for the conventions were being served outside (all areas blocked off for us) - to the point where we were eating in the bar area of Il Mulino and my daughter asked to leave because people kept bumping into her wearing orange lanyards (ie clearly from a convention). We would have preferred to have eaten at the Swan Reserve as it seemed quieter, but there were no children options advertised at all. Would I return? Probably, but only as a special treat/points redemption. If I was to pay the room rate I would be v upset about the additional $72 fleeced off me each night on top! If spending my own money, I think I would seek out a quieter, more child appropriate location without the drunken hoards in the early evening over at the Swan/Dolphin.

We booked our 6 night stay on points as we are Marriott Titanium Members. For this hotel, there didn’t feel like there was much of a benefit to being a Marriott Elite Member. We did not receive an upgrade due to booking on points. First some of the positive remarks: The location is great for Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The boats ran about every 10 minutes and they were on time. We were granted Elite Continental Breakfast vouchers that could be used for in room or at the Amare. Note- to get any hot food from the buffet at Amare was an additional $15/ person (in addition to the voucher). Included in room options were coffee, a pastry/ bagel and either a yogurt or oatmeal. The breakfast Buffett at Amare had all the usual continental breakfast items plus Mickey waffles. Overall the hotel seemed clean and new. Air conditioner worked great and water pressure was nice. Our daughter liked the playground at the Swan/ Dolphin as well. The Epcot side has a great view for their nightly fireworks. Negative: we were not given an early check in as requested and they did not have our room ready until almost 5PM (we arrived at 2:30). The on-site pool was closed during our stay without notice. Several of the pools at the Swan/Dolphin would also be closed without notice for private events. With that in mind, it makes the $40/ day resort fee tough to stomach. There was no microwave in our room. The bus to Magic Kingdom was easy to catch to the transportation station but seemed inconsistent on the return trip. This made for a long park day and then waiting around and not sure when the next bus would show up. They're also still charging $32/ day for parking. Halfway through our stay, a new family checked into the room next to ours and we discovered how thin the walls were. Their children would scream off and on in the evening and the family got up at 6:30AM everyday. This definitely make it hard to get some rest. We requested to switch rooms and even take a downgraded location but it was denied due to the hotel reportedly being sold out. We did contact the front desk one night and security came up very quickly and the noise stopped.
