Very nice hotel and helpful staff. However, the destination fee is just beyond rediculous. It includes "amenities" like the swan boats and the transfer boats to and from the parks. "Perks" that ANYONE - not even staying at any of the nearby resorts - were using for free. - and the hotel charge 40$ a day, whether you use the 40 bucks or not. I have been forced to pay the rediculous Marriott destination fees before - but this was nothing short of insane, and such a blatant a rip-off....read full review
My initial impression was not positive and I was disappointed and shared my concerns with the Manager on Duty, Dyshawn. He made me feel seen and heard and turned our vacation around and should be promoted yesterday. They were fully booked and my room wasn’t ready until after 4p and it caused delays in our dinner and childcare plans. Basic, clean with great service from the staff. It was very much a family hotel with a Disney theme/feel to it. I would recommend it for a family stay, the rooms were spacious and clean and all of the communal areas were immaculate. I’m less convinced I would want to share my family holiday with people on work conferences, which I was. It gave the hotel an odd identity/feel so not sure I would stay if a corporate event was on at the same time.
