It's handy, being right at the hotel if you are staying there. The food is mostly Tex-Mex with a couple of other items. It was cheap.

Breakfast review is good because of the service and the great attitude of Mr. Omelette maker. Eggs, sausage and potatoes were all good. Coffee not bad either. Buffett included juices and coffee to kept the price reasonable for the area.

We enjoyed the breakfast. The food was hotter than most buffets. The servers are very friendly and informative about the area.

Ate here last night for dinner. Was me and my husband and two small children. We ate here because we did not want to take them out. It was nothing great. I got the steak Acapulco enchilada. The steak was barely chewable. I couldn't even cut it with the knife they provided. The rice on that platter was average. My kids had the hotdogs and the pasta with meat sauce. The hotdog was a plain hot dog on a toasted hotdog buns. And the meat sauce with pasta was better than my meal. My husband had salmon and didn't really comment too much on it so I take it it was OK. I would not eat here again or recommend it to anyone. Spend a couple minutes in the car and drive to one of the near restaurants.

Salsa was a tomato sauce, no flavor at all, which warned my husband to only do a soup and salad, really how do mess that up? Crackers were stale and mushy, croutons for Cesar were the same. Fail! My mother and I ordered fajitas, the only flavor was in the vegetables, no flavor added at all! Shrimp was definitely not from Florida, no flavor and was like rubber, that ended up in the napkin.. my dad asked for hot sauce and the only thing they had was Tabasco. Very disappointed. Go over to Moe's at the strip mall, you will not be disappointed there and it won't take 2 hours to get crappie food. Traders grill need to send their chef out for training, or find someone new. We actually complained to the manager on duty and the front desk and really no remorse, no apologies... nothing. At least the waitress offered us a free desert, which we declined.

This is my first Yelp review. I stayed at this hotel with family who did not want to leave for food. I ordered the nachos with ground beef and they were terrible. As in, stale chips, ground beef was in chunks and tasted old, the queso was what I believe to be jalepeno velvetta. There was an attempt at green onions scattered on top. There were also black beans which were also definitely canned, not even rinsed or seasoned for the dish. The meal was warm rather than hot and the cheese was congealing. The only reason I did not send the food back and cancel was because I was with family who were attempting to make the best of a terrible experience. My sister ordered the mac and cheese from the kid's menu which was surely Kraft BOXED mac and cheese with curly fries on the side as if that was a real meal. I truly believe that there isnt a chef behind these meals. My mother had the wing platter, the wings were overdone, dry and hard. The celery and carrots on the plate were old. I ate them when I realized I could not eat my nachos with the hope that the high fiber content would help move this canned meal out of my system. I also suspect that our waiter may have been cooking the food. We came in at 9pm and it closes at 10pm. We were the only people in the restaurant, he took our orders, brought out the drinks and disappeared completely for the 35 minutes we waited for our food. Then he came back with the food and after he served us, proceeded to vaccuum the restaurant. This may be a one man business. The quality was terrible and very much over priced for what you are getting. I don't eat McDonald's but that would have been a better choice taste and quality wise.

Wifey had the chicken fajitas and I had the burger, both were good, nothing crazy. The bfast was good, specially the 10% off coupon.

Do yourself (and the staff) a favor and go somewhere else. This place exists just to take money from people who don't know any better. The food is terrible, and the staff was basically (and with good reason) apologizing for it beforehand.

It was a TexMex restaurant. Not even called Trader's Island Grill. Asked someone about it and they didnt even know what Trader's Island Grill was, it was just Trader's TexMex

This restaurant was horrible. We came for the 2 for $25 deal and should've known you get what you pay for. In this case, you still get way less than what you paid for. Three of us at the table ordered steak fajitas. All three were overcooked and chewy to the point where you could not even cut the steak with a knife. On top of that, the toppings they provide for the fajitas were a teaspoon of salsa, flavorless and overchurned sour cream and guacamole from a can. Save your time and your money and go find somewhere else. I would recommend McDonald's over this place.

Dinner was terrible but the breakfast was very good.

It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I ordered the shrimp salad and it had but 4 medium sized shrimps. My husband ordered a burrito which came with rice and beans- the beans seemed like canned beans and they were hard. The wings appetizer was alright.

When one doesn't want to leave the hotel, there's Tex Mex. It was ok. Chips and Salsa were good. I asked if the jalapeí±os were fresh made and was advised yes. IMO, they tasted pre-packaged but, still very good. They are hot and fried fresh but, do not believe they were stuffed there. Forgot that I ordered a salad. My daughter loved the place as they served black beans and made her some custom tacos. They do not sell a la carte.
