My better half and I have been going to Amuras for over 20 years... absolutely 100% without a doubt the best Sushi chefs, the freshest and tastiest Sushi rolls 10 out of 10 chopsticks!! However recently they have changed owners..... the music and vibe isn't as cool as it was in the past.. the recipes on many of the rolls have changef but overall still fresh and good. Some things can't last forever.
Our server Ashley M. was great, knowledgeable of the menu & was able to offer suggestions when prompted with questions. For starters we had the lettuce wraps, gyoza, krab rangoon & a ginger salad. Everything was good & well prepared. I enjoyed the wraps & gyoza best. We ordered sushi as our main course, a volcano roll and a spicy tuna roll. Paired dinner with a Chetau St Michelle Riesling & Kirin Ichiban. The sushi was fresh & flavorable.

We have been going to Amuras since they've opened.... 20 years+. Since it has been sold it has not been the same. Still good but the rolls not like they were. Seemed to be less rice and different tuna. Sunday we had a special 2 rolls for 20.99. Not bad price! With the whole plaza closing up, I think they need to step up!
