I took a date to Lake Mary Social as it was recommended to me as a fine dining restaurant. The entry way is very small, dark, and it was hard to see inside. It has the feel of a place you shouldn't be. The hostess was very pleasant and helpful. We were seated right away. Our waitress was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. All the food was great, I honestly didn’t expect it to taste a great as it did. Our appetizer was fried risotto balls, the salmon dish was cooked perfectly medium as I asked, and the lamb was just right with a medium cook as well. The accompanying sides were a perfect compliment to the meal. I had the banana pudding for dessert it was ok, I wouldn’t order it again, but it wasn’t bad, just not exciting.
