“This tiny little unassuming place is a hidden gem. We happened to be in Lake Wales and stopped in for lunch. The food was all fresh and made to order. Absolutely fantastic. My blackened grouper didn't last long enough to be photographed. Nor did my wife's fish tacos. My sons got the alfredo and the beer battered cod. Both were reticent to share. Great portions and friendly staff. Makes you feel like a regular. Will definitely "happen to be" in Lake Wales more often.“
“Had a wonderful lunch at Sizzlin Grill today. Our server Stephanie was professional, pleasant, attentive and very efficient. The food was great and timely served. This is clean, casual style dining with a lot of menu options. We always have a great meal here and will be back, of course.“
“Had to stop in and check out their breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. Marilyn and I both got one and it was pretty good. This comes with french fries but we also got some onion rings and some coleslaw. You just have to be aware this is cash only no credit cards. The waitress was really nice and took good care of us.“
“I really like this local restaurant atmosphere without noise and without television. Wonderful service, friendly and attentive. After placing the order the waitress told us that there were no more oysters and that we would have to choose another dish. Five minutes later she came back to tell us that the delivery truck had arrived and that it was possible to have the oysters... Great, super fresh oysters. To keep us waiting they offered us crab cakes... Superb surprise?The only small negative point would be for the green salad, a little 'tired' (perhaps linked to the delay for the oysters) and for my taste, with too much cheese.We will definitely come back during our next visit to the region.“
“An authentic Mexican restaurant located inside of a Mexican store so that is why the atmosphere did not get as high a rating. We have eaten here many times, there is never any waiting because they have a lot of room. The food is always great.“
“We have been eating at Cherry Pocket occasionally for over 10 years and it's a good place to ride the Harley to for lunch or take out of town guests for a meal. However, when we visited with friends recently I saw the menu prices have skyrocketed. A cheeseburger is $14, a house salad with "grooper" (not Grouper) on it was $18 and catfish was $16. The food and service was good, but for 4 people for lunch expect to pay about $100. It's not that special. We will probably give Cherry Pocket a rest for awhile.“
“The food is always delicious and the service is always great I just wish that they would stop raising the prices but that's the economy for you. I will still come and eat here all the time because they have the best Boba teas and Sushi poke bowls“
“This is a nice and quiet little family-friendly sports bar. The food portions are huge and the drinks are cheap. The burger could have been two sandwiches easily. I ordered the hurricane chicken, and while it was pretty good, i would have liked the barbeque sauce to be something more original. It tasted like any plain old store bought sauce. There's games and pool tables to keep everyone entertained. We'll definitely give this place another try. The menu had a lot of options that sound amazing!“
“This is a lovely,locally owned restaurant. Huge variety of seafood. Servers are excellent. There was a slight mistake with our order, and they immediately fixed it. (Before we even knew)Kid-friendliness: There were 2 children here, and they were content with what they were served.“

“Good value for the money. No one around has prices like theirs! You must try it. You won't be disappointed! We ordered 2 pounds of snow crab legs, 1/2 pound of sausage (those both came with potatoes and corn), fried rice, vegetable lo mein, cheese wonton (6) and 2 drinks the total was $87. It would have been over $100 anywhere else. Also the food came out hot!“
“Found this place my mistake a while back and i cant even tell people where it is because i can't pronounce the street name. LOL. But really, food is always good, never had to wait, but i hear sometimes there is a line. Waitress and owners have always been great. They have inside seating or outdoors on the screened in deck. Very relaxing place to go and have a quite meal.“
“Had breakfast there this morning with a friend. Had the Colorado omelette with a pancake, trying to get a good breadth of their taste, since it was my first time there. It was delicious! The flavor was deep and cared for, not bland. The pancake was thick and moist and everything tasted great. The environment was quiet, which was perfect for today’s chat. I’m sure it’ll get louder once people realize how good this place is. Check it out!“
