“I’ve been in town for almost a week, I stopped in because I was bored at the hotel. Ended up pleasantly surprised. My first night in I met a group of “regulars” and ended up having awesome conversations and everyone was buying everyone drinks. Since then I thought there was no sense in trying to find another place and I’ve stopped in a couple more times. Every single time food was good, beer was cold, bartenders are awesome, and the crowd is very welcoming.“

“1st time here and got a rookie dish to try some samples of the apps - for free!! The wings were really good so would happily have those in the future. Tried the Ulmer's prosecco-Lada cocktail - very nice - and a classic mojito - also good. Menu has a good selection of dishes, all reasonably priced. We have been looking for a decent sports bar in the area and this has hit the mark as caters for more than just burgers or wings - highly recommend if wanting good service, decent food, tasty drinks, and plenty of large screen tvs.“
“Really appreciated how clean it was and saw waitresses keeping up with it, as a previous waitress I notice a lot of things others wouldn’t. Staff wasn’t very chatty and outgoing but average and did all the steps of service. Huge praise to the cooks my food was very fresh and delicious and not mushy like some takeout can be from the condensation in the box. Definitely one of the top beefs I’ve visited!“
“Great place for sandwiches, wings and pizza. I was one of a group of 12. The seated us all in a quieter area where we could socialize. I had the chili dog with fries and it was very good. It was a enormous hotdog on a sub sized bun topped with chili. The fries I ordered were seasoned and a good complement to the hot dog. One of our group ordered a personal sized pizza and it looked really good. Everyone enjoyed their food and had a great time. The service was excellent. I will be back.“
“Honestly had a fantastic time with my partner in my brother. Darts were affordable and fun to do with drinks. The bartender was honestly really kind. She was very sweet and she was excited to work with us. The music is fine. I liked the atmosphere. Wasn't crowded at all. Hope to come back sometime later.“

“Let me start out by saying that I have eaten at almost every bbq establishment on the eastern seaboard, and woodys BBQ is the singularity in the matrix.I was sitting at my desk in my soul sucking 9-5 position as a hedge fund manager in NYC, clearing north of $300k annually, I was ignoring my secretary talking and was mindlessly scrolling tiktok when suddenly a food review page popped up, and there it was Woody’s BBQ in lake Wales, Florida. I told my boss I was going to lunch and proceeded to drive 22 hours straight and did not stop until I hit the woodys parking lot. It was closed when I arrived so I decided to take a short 4 hour nap in the parking lot.When the establishment opened, I was first inside, and was greeted by the single greatest waitress I have ever encountered, her name was Orlyn. She was enchanting, helpful, and hands down the best person I have ever met. My experience was top notch, not just due to the food, but Orlyn and her serving magic. She was quick, enthusiastic, and an all around delight.Orlyn needs to be promoted to boss, handed the keys to the restaurant, and have the deed signed over to her immediately. I thanked God for her that day, and I even asked her to come back to New York with me to be my personal waitress.
