“The Flava zone was extremely delicious! They absolutely exceeded my expectations. The food was made fresh and by the chef himself. The hospitality and service was on point. I traveled from Palm Beach County and it was well worth the drive. I got the Lemon Pepper Jumbo shrimp and a side of fries and the food came out in a timely matter. 5/5 across the board! I would definitely recommend!“
“This place is def a new favorite of mine. What initially interested me was their widespread menu of both sushi plates and as well as hibachi platters and noodles and much more. There is a decent amount of parking in the plaza it's located in. Was greeted shortly after arriving and seated at a booth. We were told that happy hour included half off drinks so we each got a watermelon & basil smash, they were strong and delicious, tasted pretty much like a watermelon soda. We started off with the gyoza which I think was the best I've ever had. I tried their miso soup, was good but nothing crazy, just bigger portion than usual which is not a bad thing but I ordered two rolls! I chose the muscle roll & salmon lover. Both were delicious, I'd say my favorite was the muscle roll though. My boyfriend got the chicken katsu and was happy with that. I wish we had room for dessert but I even had to take home half of each roll, they were bigger than your usual roll but I didn't want them going to waste! The space is very cute with a bar on the left side with a couple chairs, booths, tables & high tops as well as outdoor seating that features a cute flower backdrop. Will for sure be coming back again & I can't wait until then!“
“This is a true definition of a hole in the wall that puts out fantastic food. I had introduced to this place about 3334 years ago and fell in love with it when I ate there. I haven't been back to this place because of where I live for about five years, and they haven't missed a beat. I've been told that I cook, I mean curry goat that rivals some of the best restaurants in town, next to this place, my goat bows down to them. Everything was right, including the rice and beans. The second order was for oxtail that was fantastic as well. The restaurant is sitting on a strip just south of Broward Boulevard on 31st Ave., it's not the best shopping center around as there are people frequently drinking, but it's definitely worth going there to get some goat. This place is a takeout place and nothing more“

“I am an avid taco eater. At least once or twice a week and have been to taco spots all over. This place has a true Mexican vibe. It's a little grocery store with a mini restaurant in the back. There is literally one table. The address listed is wrong and you have to drive half a mile or so to get to the actually location. I tried half of the tacos on their menu. There was a bit of a language barrier but they had someone on-site that could understand me for the most part. Even though we couldn't really understand each other, they were very friendly and did their best to help me. The tacos were very good and they double up on tortillas, although they were a little stingy with the sauces. I would eat here again.“
“We wanted to try Haitian soup. Unfortunately, a nearby restaurant only sells it on Sunday, and quickly sells out. Another location had no day restrictions, but was farther away. Then we remembered Brunia's Caribbean Takeout. Located in a small, strip shopping center, behind a used car dealership, it can be difficult to find. But once you find it, the food is worth it. This was actually our second visit to Brunia's. Our first was an unfortunate one. The space inside is very small. Three patrons were seated, and voraciously eating their food. The order window was barren because all the staff was around the corner handling a series of tasks. We noticed the prices for Bouillon and Soup JouMou [pumpkin soup] were more expensive than most places, but figured it was because they probably served larger portions. We left confused and empty handed that day. This visit, there was only one voracious customer, slurping away at his food. Once again, the order window was vacant, and everyone was around the corner. Only this time, we could not see anyone. Determined to order, we looked at the order window again, and noticed an old-fashioned service bell. Yes, the ones common in the really old days. So we rang it, and someone appeared. We placed our order, and had it in no time! The service was good. The woman at the counter asked if that was all, which was good service. However, the price did not match the menu; it was $2 more. Prices on some food, especially meat has increased. One restaurant had a huge sign on the door stating that. We figured it was a price increase, and the menu was not updated. Or it was a takeout fee. No worries. We paid the amount, and enjoyed the soup, even added some very hot sauce to it after we found out on a Haitian cooking YouTube channel that adding hot sauce was okay. Brunia's is very good for Haitian fare. Just be sure to ring the bell, if you see no one, and inquire about and confirm the menu price before ordering.“
