“We have been going to Silver Pond for many years. If you are going there for ambience, you will be disappointed. It reminds me of an old restaurant in China Town NYC. The food is not quite as good as in past years, but still better than any place in the area. The best hot and sour soup we have ever had. Hong Kong chicken is crispy and delicious. Baby bok choy, very good, as are other vegetable dishes. If you like chow fun, (wide rice noodles) they make an excellent version. The food is freshly made and brought out hot. If you are looking for won ton soup or egg rolls, you went to the wrong place. If you are looking for different dishes well prepared and delicious, this is your place. Like all restaurants in this era of inflation, prices are up, but in general you get what you pay for.“

“Delicious Maine lobster pasta in sauce. I loved it. Unfortunately, the Dover Sole was ok, not the freshness of fish I expect at this fine restaurant. Chef Angelo would not tolerate it on his plate. At $78 for the dish, any restaurant can put a delicious sauce. Angelo's recipes are the best. Angelo's should maintain better quality control of their fish in hot Ft Lauderdale. The sauce was very good, of course. I will go again. Not order fish. It's a problem in most restaurants. Didn't expect at this Ft Lauderdale gem.“

“I never knew about Velvet Taco I just happened to be walking by I had no money and I was starving. I went in and asked for something to eat. The manager was absolutely the greatest person on this earth He gave me something to eat and asked what I wanted I chose chicken and waffles. “This is by far, the BEST restaurant in the Davie/Plantation area. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over a year and all the food is so full of fresh flavors, generous portions and extremely friendly and attentive staff and management. The manager Tan always goes out of his way to accommodate every guest and makes everyone feel like a part of the family. The servers are attentive to detail, very warm and provide quality service! Best food on the menu: pineapple fried rice, red snapper, pad woo sen and of course the traditional pad Thai. The sushi is fresh, vibrant with a lot of variety and choices. The curry will have you coming back for more! You won’t regret a visit from this restaurant!“

They have a really cute section at the yellow green farmers market. I wonder what they use for their vegan sour cream but it was really nice to have. I love supporting their small business. “I had dinner at the pompano beach outback near sample and I loved our waitress Virginia and also Brandon at the bar. This outback has improved its service 100 percent from a year ago loved Virginia so friendly and what a great personality way to go !!!“

“I knew I wanted to go to Archibald's since they opened. Their social media makes it look like such a fun and delicious place to stop in for a coffee or a sweet treat! And lemme tell you--all my expectations were exceeded handily from the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted warmly by the owner, Chris, and couldn't wait to order my oat milk latte. They served it in a 16oz size, which was PERFECT for my perhaps worrisome reliance on caffeine. It was strong and delicious, just the way I LOVE it. The music and the setting were outstanding. I couldn't help singing along with the playlists piping through their cozy outdoor seating area and several little birds and neighborhood pups made the experience that much more enjoyable. Chris would deliver orders to the seating area and his warmth and hospitality made this THE place to be, especially on an overcast Sunday morning. I loved the pumpkin spice scone and the quiche was BEAUTIFUL, especially with that gluten-free crust. I try to limit that consumption as much as I can though I have to admit--baked goods are my kryptonite. All in all, an incredible experience. I look forward to returning when I'm back in Ft. Lauderdale. And when I come, I'll be sure to bring my souvenir mug--they'll fill it with drip coffee for only a DOLLA'! I am from Miami and have been to many taco places but this has to be number one. I have never done a review for a taco place but this was a well deserved one. “This place is a hidden gem. Located in the Target plaza off of 441 in Coral Springs. They have hands down the best selection of baklava around, including vegan options. They also have a kitchen, but I can't speak to that since the only food I've had are their deserts and various varieties of dates. I've also had their Turkish coffee, which was also very good. They have an excellent selection of canned and dried goods along with a nice variety of teas. They are super friendly and will help you out if you have any questions. I don't smoke, but if hookah is your thing, they have what appears to be a nice selection, and I've seen people sitting outside partaking. Can't recommend this place enough. Highly recommend!“

“Planta Queen on Las Olas is absolutely amazing. We ordered takeout (because it was Easter Sunday, and restaurants are packed!). We ordered seven different dishes, and we were blown away by each and every one. This fully vegan restaurant offers mainly Asian food that is fresh, beyond flavorful and totally different from your local Asian restaurant. They offer whole food items, no processed food, very fresh and unlike anything you've ever tasted before. Yes, they are expensive. And worth every penny. My taste buds had a real blast!! SO GOOD!!! It is a small chain with about 20 locations - many of them in Florida, but we're so glad there's a location near us!!! Try something truly different and so delicious for a change!!“

“Born and raised Philly here. The owner, staff, and manager are great people. The hoagie is authentic, but I have to take a star off for the following reasons. Mostly, they need to up their game with the rolls. Amoroso's ships rolls all over the country. Many would say the roll is the defining factor in a Philly hoagie.They do not use pepper ham, most Philly shops do. The cheese should always go on the roll hinge and they should offer to strip the roll too. The hoagies are simply too big, I could barely eat half a small hoagie.I would go back if I had someone to share with.“

“Celebrated a birthday dinner with them last night. The food & service couldn't have been better. The "Out of Control" raw sushi roll was out of this world. I'm excited to return soon, especially for lunch since our spa is so close. They actually helped solve a problem for me too without knowing it. My clients often find out I'm a former mega yacht chef and quiz me for dining options. I cringe because I'm very reluctant to give master chef level recommendations with such a plethora of ever changing restaurants, price points and service levels. My taste always leans to super fresh, fun, spicy ethnic-ish foods with bold flavors that you probably don't have to mortgage your house to afford. I'll worry no more as you'd be hard pressed not to find something you like on their abundant menu... even if sushi isn't your thing. Don't hesitate.“

“Absolutely fantastic experience at 52 Seasons Fort Lauderdale. My friends and I were celebrating my graduation and had a blast. The food and cocktails were amazing and the ambiance was spot on. Our server Trevor made our experience incredible and masterfully handled our 11 person table (with different people arriving at different times) with ease and made our experience incredible. He explained every one of the desserts and answered every question we had about the food. My steak and asparagus was cooked to perfection.
