I’ve seen an improvement here recently so I’m updating my review from 5 years ago. I’m not waiting as long for my order and it appears to be well staffed. I haven’t ordered a smoothie in a long time so I can’t comment on that but the new tropic bowls are absolutely delicious. I’ve tried every single one of them. Hear me out, this location is very clean and customer service is amazing… However, the Tropic Bowls are terrible. I absolutely love Açaí and Tropical Smoothie disappointed me real bad. The pineapples were canned pineapples. The can taste took away from the açaí bowl. The granola was given crushed graham crackers and let’s not get into the size for the price. All I know is, Playa Bowls would never have me upset after purchasing an açaí bowl.

Very Slow, way behind on orders. I arrived 20 minutes after the order was meant to be ready, and I had to wait another 15 minutes for it to be made, and if I hadn't noticed that it was made, and placed on shelf behind the counter, I would have been waiting even longer. There were only 2 employees, and at least 14 customers waiting. They were too busy to interact much with the customers waiting. This was my 2nd time trying this location, next time I won't. (Weirdly there was a customer sitting at the counter picking through all the receipts that the employees place in the tray on counter after orders are made.)

One of my favorite spots for a quick breakfast/lunch healthily combo. The staff is always welcoming and the food is consistently good. Norman and Daynia are the sweetest ever! The two are always so attentive don't find this type of service often. I highly recommend this spot for your next smoothie run. Great service, value and overall experience :)
