“The ice cream was good, but I was not impressed with how they go about handling allergies. I'm allergic to nuts, and a lot of their flavors have nuts. I do not trust that In there is completely nut free, so be very cautious if you're anaphylactic.Edit: will be bumping it up to a five star because of the response.“

My husband got a Guava Snowball, which he liked and I had a Vanilla Soft Serve topped with Caramel drizzle and Oreo cookie crumbles. The service was friendly, and I heard it was family owned. The ambiance is quite nice with both outdoors and indoors seatings. We're actually lucky enough to live with in walking distance. Like a 50's style soda shop and it's really that old. Still the best shakes and burgers!“

“We used to enjoy Sweet Berries, dedpite habitually slow service. No more, after last night. We ordered soups & salads (most likely already prepared) to eat in, then sat & sat & sat while to-go orders were called - several of them had bern put in AFTER we had ordered. After half an hour my husband checked with them as to the status & was told it would be right up. More to-go orders were taken * filled, while we sat, waiting. We finally threw in the towel & demanded our money back & left. We won't ne back, and we will no longer recommend Sweet Berries to others.“

“Kilwins is a awesome little Ice Cream and confectionery creations shop. We visited this new location in Siesta Key Village tonight. They are just as delicious here as everywhere else we have tried them. I had the Yellow Cake batter ice cream and my wife sampled the Raspberry Sorbet They were both delicious. The staff at this location were friendly and efficient and we both enjoyed our treats out on their raised covered porch that over looks the Bulivard. The shop was also very clean and new looking and they obviously take pains to keep it that way considering the amount of traffic that comes through. We also bought their last box of Salted Carmel Chocolates while we were here. They have a wide selection of chocolates, fudges as well as Ice Cream and even Ice cream cakes suitable for birthdays or special occasions. Kilwins always has premium high quality chocolate that you can 100% taste the difference from them to their competition.Kid-friendliness: Great place to take the kids or the Grandkids for a cold tasty treat.
