“For an almost $30 lobster roll I expected a little more lobster or atleast a bigger roll, was just lobster between a piece of Texas toast but it was delicious. We loved the fresh bread and dipping it in the oil was a cool Italian/ seafood / beach vibes place. Reasonably priced kids meals!Kid-friendliness: Good kid menus“

“Mine and my husband’s favorite place to eat on the island! The food is absolutely amazing, from the queso to the mango salsa to the specials, churros and everything in between! We have eaten there several times since we got here in January. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming too! My only regret is we have to leave to go home to Ohio soon and won’t get to eat this delicious food. Can’t wait to come back next year, this will be our first stop for dinner!“

“My new favorite spot is an absolute delight! The gelato was simply amazing, and the customer service was truly spectacular. Plus, I had the pleasure of being served by a friendly and sweet Brazilian staff member, which added to the wonderful experience. I can't wait to return for more of their delicious gelato! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fantastic time and irresistible treats.“

“Michael's on East (MOE) is one of the best fine dining establishments in Sarasota and has been in business for nearly 40 years. Ive been a customer for nearly 30 of those 40 years and despite its maturity, MOE is still hot, hopping and a crowd pleaser for those who enjoy great food, wines and service. During its nearly four decades, MOE has been wowing patrons with its fine cuisine, decor, and outstanding service. Don't be surprised if you see actors, comedians and musicians who might be performing at the Van Wezel during the winter season, sitting next to you because the concierge at their hotel recommended MOE as one of the desirable restaurants for a sensational meal, wine and service. MOE is rich in Sarasota heritage and is the perfect choice to celebrate a special occasion with that very special guest or guests. It's a delight in every way.“

“An absolute delight! Last minute birthday cupcakes were needed and when I walked in, I was greeted with amazing service! I met one of the owners and he was so very sweet and informative about all of the sweet treats they had and made it extra special with the birthday signs for the cupcakes! They even have tons of Gluten Free options as well which is always a great find. Cupcakes were absolutely delicious and a hit. Thank you so much! Will be back when I need my next sweet treat :)“

“Always happy with the food I usually have the veal. Service is great and friendly. The only thing I would like to see improved is consistency with their beer offering. Peroni Nastro Azzurro the most popular Italian beer in America sometimes they have it sometimes they don't. Being a beer drinker it is disappointing when I cannot have a few with my meal.“

“Mesmerizing! As soon as you open the door and walk in, a warm welcome is heard. The scent of sweetness captivates all your senses. You suddenly feel like your childhood self walking in and wanting everything in the showcase. I ordered two different size cakes; both beautiful and delicious. In addition, I have also purchased different pastries and they too are amazingly, blissfully, delicious! In my case, the bakery is a bit of a drive from where I live, but so worth the travel. Forgot to mention, on your way out, the tagline, also a warm, welcome back anytime with, (paraphrasing a bit), “Have a sweet day!” In my opinion, whether you are a tourist or a Bradenton resident, you will love visiting Breezy Bakery.“

“Breakfast here was good, but the focus was the baked goods. The cinnamon rolls are the star of the show and they're big enough you'll probably be satisfied with one or two for the family.I wasn't sure I wanted to stay when I saw how long the line was, but the counter service was fairly quick.“

“Quite possibly the best crafted coffees you will find anywhere,, very informative barista ,,quite pricey if you buy whole beans and such .. but the per cup charge for what you get of lattes etc is actually almost cheap for the quality of the drink “

“A lovely little cafe in Sarasota with service and food that matches the pretty exterior. SlI stopped by on a Monday morning whilst on vacation, and though the place was quite busy, the staff was handling it very well, and the vibe was fast but comfortable. My experience when ordering was pleasant and bright, and that was an idiom kept by all staff working at the time.I got a stuffed croissant with egg and cheese and spinach, which was quite delicious. My wife got a stuffed everything bagel with ham, egg, cheese and spinach and commented it was tasty enough that she couldn't stop eating it. I got my children elephant ears that they both liked, and my wife and I split a maple pecan croissant that was decadent and enjoyable. Overall, it's definitely a spot I'd say to stop at if you're in Sarasota, as they also had dozens of other beautiful looking pastries, a vast drink menu and lunch options.“

“It's been years since I had one of their pies when they were on Swift Rd. I thought they were out of business and while searching Google maps for something I saw the Bee Ridge store. To say they're awesome still falls short. There goes my waistline.“

Fast service and a menu to die for. Delicious waffles, french toast and their special mango butter is a real treat. The fresh baked mango muffins are, seriously OH MY GAWD! Cannot wait for our next visit and try other dishes from their very creative menu and.... of course bring home more muffins.“

We stopped in twice during our stay on the key and enjoyed both visits. The patio is really relaxing in the shade and the inside is charming.Hope to visit again!“

“A busy Saturday morning, at such a fantastic establishment, you can expect a wait, but it is well worth it. Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had, outside of my own kitchen! The brioche French toast was light and fluffy, the option to get real maple syrup is a perfect pairing. The apple wood smoked bacon is absolutely fantastic. Veggie omelette, was so delicious and full of veggies! The home fried potatoes are seasoned and cooked perfectly. My absolute favorite was the marble rye toast, the most delicious bread I've ever had. And our server Ken was great!“

“This place is a little dive bar gem! The High side is connected to Precision Cycle, so it's basically the biker bar. That being said, the people are super nice, the food is cheap and the service is fast. My sandwich was tasty enough that I ate the whole thing and got a $3 glass of wine to top it off. Seriously, where else can you get a giant sandwich and a drink for $11? They've even got a pool table.“
“One day last week the girls finally had a day out shopping. We stopped in the afternoon to check out this bakery and market. After some cookies I asked about bagels and they only had frozen ones left. I brought a half dozen bag of cinnamon raisin bagels home. Just like the cookies and cakes, the bagels are to die for. They are brought in from New York every morning and baked in the store. I knew my fiancé would love it here. We rode our bikes using the legacy trail from Venice, and since Sarasota has wonderful bike lanes, we easily found our way to the bakery. Now to back up to the beginning of our ride, I took a nasty spill in the first mile and just tried to keep my wound clean along the way and continued my ride. When we rolled up to the market, I cleaned it with water again. Before I knew it, a sweet employee came out to ask me if I needed a bandage. We went in to get the first aid and they fixed me up. It was so nice to see humanity at its best. I really want to thank them for their hospitality. We then went to the bakery and enjoyed their fresh Fruit Tarts. Yummy! Planning another trip with our car to be able to shop the market properly. I highly recommend the gourmet food and the bakery but especially the customer service.“
“Wow! Best Bowl I have ever had! Chicken was incredible, all the toppings fresh and tasty! We loved the guacamole and the chips (fresh out of the fryer) were wonderful! Great the next day too! Staff was friendly and helpful! Absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back!“

“one of the best decisions I have made in this new year was stopping by and checking this shop out while on a walk through downtown Sarasota.... amazing donuts and the lady who served me was as friendly as a person could be. “Absolutely wonderful hole-in-the-wall authentic German restaurant. German imported beers on tap, some of the best red cabbage I've had, fantastic gravy on the schnitzel. A gem on Anna Maria Island.Dietary restrictions: Restaurant was unable to accommodate gluten free schnitzel at the time of our visit, but sometimes they can with enough notice.“

“A pleasant little deli and coffee shop in the always buzzing St. Armands Circle area of Sarasota. I stopped by around breakfast/brunch time for takeout after taking my daughter to get her ears checked (ear infections oft being the bane of all vacation plans).I ordered the veggie burrito, which had a lot of flavor and a bunch of fresh tasting veggies along with cheese. My wife got the avocado toast, which she remarked had way more avocado than she expected, which is a good sign for the more meager price tag. My children split a simple egg and cheese on toast, which they both enjoyed. Overall, it was good and filling breakfast fair for what could definitely be considered a bargain for the area where it resides.“

“Absolutely PHENOMENAL! This place is so versatile with so many options. I got the bridge street sandwich on the jalapeno pepperjack bagel, easily the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! I also tried the fruity pebbles doughnut, and it was equally as delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful with the questions we had. Adorable little shop on bridge street, and a must see when in AMI.“

“Might not be the best pizza I've ever had- but it is definitely one of the better ones. Truly adhering to the New York style pizza making tradition, this is a very thin pie, but one that manages to be both crunchy and chewy, as opposed to just cracker like.I ordered takeout and got the 3 cheese, with the addition of lump ricotta taking the flavor of the pizza to another creamy level. The sauce was good, and it's the kind of pizza where the crust is possibly the best part, as opposed to an afterthought. Definitely deserves the fanfare it has gotten on review sites and notably from Dave Portnoy.“

“Man okay first let me start off by say the service here was great the staff was so nice and accommodating. Our waitress was so nice and on her game. 10/10 on service. The inside and outside of the restaurant was so gorgeous. I loved the paintings and the color skeem of it all. Just beautiful 10/10! With that being said that's where all the niceness stops. Let me put it this way if you're a person that has never had authentic Asian cuisine of any kind then this is for you you'll like it. HOWEVER if you're a person that has had authentic Asian cuisine of any kind or find yourself "cultured" then this is not a place for you. Don't believe me then go try it for yourself. Chang's Lettuce Wraps: these were not very good if anything just okay. Under seasoned and the protein we chose was chicken and yet there was little to no chicken in it. The saving grace was the sauce that we dipped it in. But we personally wouldn't order again. 5/10 Pork Egg Rolls: these were probably the best thing we had the whole night. These egg rolls were very good, hot, and fresh tasting. Would definitely eat again! However the dipping sauce for them was so bad we were afraid to try it twice it was very strong with an acidic vinegar taste that was extremely unbearable! Egg rolls 7/10 the sauce 1/10 Vegetable Fried Rice: we ordered a side of vegetable fried rice only to receive it with no vegetables, the most it had was little bits of carrots here and there. On top of that it was so dry as if it was days old and extremely lumpy and clear as day had huge hunks of white rice where it wasn't properly cooked and evenly coated. 3/10 Sesame Chicken: was okay at best I have eaten sesame chicken for years and this was not standard. Like I said it was okay just had an off flavor. I actually ended up eating and enjoy the broccoli, onions, and peppers more then anything. 5/10 Beef With Broccoli: this was actually pretty decent flavor was there but it's weird it's called beef with broccoli and yet we only received like 5 pieces of broccoli on the plate. You'd think there would have been more right? 7/10 Chocolate Souffle: this one was weird the raspberry sauce was the worst part it didn't pare well with anything very strong and tangy it was off-putting to the tongue. The chocolate souffle was very dense and fudge like and I wasn't very into it. If it wasn't for the vanilla ice cream we probably would have stopped eating it. It was almost as if it was uncooked. Not sure if it was supposed to be that way but it wasn't what we expected. 2/10 All in all I'm probably never returning back here again. It reminded me of an overpriced Panda Express and I hate Panda Express. It's over priced and was not worth anything! Food: 5/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10“

“Lobster bites were hands down the best I've ever had! We wanted to go back and order more the next day. Grouper was grilled just right. Lobster bisque was OK but probably wouldn't order it again. Atmosphere was great, it was nice to be on the bay.“
