Cute, close by, and food was decent. Not my top choice on the island, but would return for convenience.

It has been a while since last visiting Marek's. It will certainly not be long before we return. We had a wonderful experience. Goat cheese and beet salad was delicious. Both entrees were excellent Thanks for an enjoyable evening.

We had high hopes but were disappointed. I'm not sure the AC was on, and it's difficult to enjoy dinner while perspiring. I ordered the house Pinot Grigio, and even at half price (happy hour) wasn't worth it... super sweet. The meal was mediocre, served in a shabby chic environment, and dessert was disappointing. We may return for drinks and appetizers when the weather is cooler, but not for a meal. And when trying to make the early evening reservation, the owner acted as if she was doing me a huge favor!

We were in Marco Island for a whole month. We found this place towards the end of our stay. We ended up eating here two days in a row. We loved it so much. Everything was phenomenal. Can't recommend this any higher. Can't wait to go back and eat there again! It's not on the waterfront but isn't a very old house built back in 1880. I hope they never pull it down. So cool that they can kept it up from the past and put a restaurant there. These people work their hands of the bone to make it a great dining experience! Very reasonable and delicious food. One of the best kept secrets of Marco Island

Had a great meal and great food our first time there. It was so good that we decided to go back a second time at the end of the week. We went early (5 o’clock) and we were told that they were full, despite place was 1/2 empty at the time. We asked if we could sit at the bar, which was empty, as we had done so our first time there. The manager arrogantly stated “no” and made no effort to accommodate us, shame because they lost out on a $300 to $400 dinner. With such a poor attitude not sure that we would go back. We ended up going next-door and had great service and great food at Old Marco Pub.

Love this place - excellent food! But don't delay in getting over there. Their chef is retiring soon. It was terrific last night as usual.

Family of 4 had a great dinner. Wings (wings done well, not chewy) and soft shell crab were both very good. Martinis and cab (huge pour) were solid. All entrees - crab stuffed shrimp, seabass, pasta alfredo w/ chicken, and cobia were very tasty and well prepared. Service was timely and insightful. Not an inexpensive restaurant, but worth a fantastic dinner. We ate inside, so there wasn't a view like some other places on Marco offer, but the food makes a visit absolutely worthwhile. We'd go back next time in Marco.

Historic landmark on the island, dates back to 1882 and was site of first restaurant and inn keeper on the island. Love the decor and they also have live entertainment

Absolutely delicious! Food presentation gorgeous and the atmosphere oh so quaint! Love, love, love it! And if you can get Constantine as your waiter...what a treat ?

Appetizers are average, service is great. Main course is very good.

Absolutely excellent food and service in a very charming setting. I had the swordfish and my wife had the snapper and both were outstanding. We can’t wait to go back.

Was taken to our table upon arrival. Our waiter Zack took our drink order quickly. Their house Grey Goose Martini with blue cheese olives was tasty and a good size as well. Was not super hungry so we split a soft shell crab which was deep fried and excellent. Both has triple tail which was served hot and was delicious. No deserts. Overall a very nice dinner.

We have been coming to Marco Island for over three years. This was our first visit to Marek's and maybe our last. Our dinner was off to a good start with our appetizers and were looking forward to our dinner entrees. My husband had the tuna appetizer and I had the burrata salad both of which were excellent. Now to the main entrees. I ordered the Filet Mignon which was very disappointing. As you can see from my photo the Filet Mignon looks very appetizing however the Filet itself was very fatty and inedible. This was quite surprising because Filet Mignon is a lean high quality cut of beef. My husband ordered the special of shrimp and lobster. The latter being tough. One of the items on the menu I truly enjoyed was my dessert which was a chocolate mousse. Not sure if we will return to dine at Marek's due to our very disappointing first visit experience.

This place is fine but definitely not worth the high prices. The cottage pie was excellent but everything else was subpar. The stone crabs were overly fried and such a small portion, and the salmon was completely drenched *swimming* in olive oil. Not to mention, the side of steamed vegetables came with only two small pieces of broccoli and two skinny carrots. Overall, very disappointed and probably won't be back.
