As a first-time visitor, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the attentive service. I had the pleasure of dining at Pasta And... while working as the DJ for a wedding being held in their event space. The room was beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere for the celebration. While I was there to work, the staff went out of their way to make me feel like a VIP guest. The star of the evening was Chef Luigi, who demonstrated his culinary prowess throughout my time at the restaurant. Though I did not know he was the chef at first, he made sure I was well taken care of, offering me a bottle of Pellegrino and various food tastings. When I finally told him to just bring me whatever he recommended, he delivered an off-menu dish of tender, flavorful lamb chops in a delectable sauce, accompanied by fresh, grilled vegetables. The food was truly exceptional - it melted in my mouth and left me craving more. I was amazed that this restaurant, which I had never heard of before, could produce such a high-caliber meal. What really sets Pasta And... apart, though, is the service. Chef Luigi went above and beyond to ensure I felt valued and appreciated, even though I was there solely in a working capacity. His hospitality and the special treatment he provided made me feel like a VIP rather than just a wedding DJ. I look forward to returning to Pasta And... in the future, this time with my karaoke skills in tow so Chef Luigi and I can put on a show together. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Margate area looking for exceptional Italian fare and unparalleled customer service.”

“Jasmine Thai & Sushi does have very good food which I highly recommend. The restaurant is also violating Florida Statute 501.0117 by charging a 4% surcharge for using a credit card to pay your bill. For those of you who are unaware (most people) this is against the law and cannot be done. The business has been notified of their infraction and hopefully your next visit will not include this surcharge. If it does, be sure to dispute the fee. This is a State law and applies to any business which regularly accepts credit cards as payment. Ensure that your local businesses aren’t committing crimes against you.”

I’m not sure why you only find the best spots unexpected. It’s not fancy but it’s a great spot for fresh coconut water at a good price.”

“Pizza was really good. I'm from New York and it's one the only places that has similar quality in taste, crunch, fluff and cheese pull. The only thing is the individual pies don't have a crust and for me the crust of the pizza is everything. On the same level I appreciated the thin crust because I'm on a low carb lifestyle so I'm assuming they used less dough to make it a thin crust pizza and it was really delicious.”

I recently visited this local with my daughter, non-franchise yogurt shop, and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was something special. The shop is owned and run by a friendly owner, who personally attended to us with such warmth and care.

One thing that really stood out was the stunning artwork and overall design of the shop, beautifully crafted by the owner's wife.
Speaking of treats—the variety of homemade ice cream here is unbelievable! Each flavor is made with care, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. Whether you're craving something classic or looking to try a new flavor, there's something for everyone.

“Gem is our favorite go to spot for breakfast or lunch. The food is amazing, you have to try their fresh baked breads (including the English muffins) and they have homemade cinnamon buns as big as the plate! The family run business is the best kept secret in Broward!”

“When visiting the area for a weekend we searched for somewhere to get doubles for breakfast. We luckily came across D Trini Spot. The food was so delicious that we came back a second time. The owner, Peats was pleasant as we all talked about Trinidad. We had doubles, Saheena, aloo pie, sada with saltfish and bake with saltfish. There’s plenty of drink options, homemade punch and ice creams as well as other Trini sweets! If we’re back in the area in the future we’ll be making it a priority to stop here again”
