“Small hole in the wall cafe which is a hidden gem. This place fits the definition of Southern hospitality perfectly. My server was extremely attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Sweet tea was served in a mason jar with a handle. Food was excellent. Prices were reasonable. Decor was encouraging with lots of inspirational quotes and Bible verses on literally everything. I would definitely go back if in the area.“
“Overall I say 5 stars for the area. If in an area where breakfast places were plentiful I probably give this a 3.75-4 star review but for this area they are probably the best breakfast option. I got the omelette and shredded hash browns with wheat toast. The potatoes were a little oily and the toast was overwhelmed with butter but both tasted good. Coffee was good and they still have the large sugar and powdered creamer on the table, but if you ask they have liquid creamer as well. It's a country breakfast place and lives up to that environment. Overall I still give it 5/5 stars because having tried everything in Marianna, they are probably the best. They get extra stars for the charm and friendliness of the staff, plus they have real plastic straws and I really appreciate that. I'd probably avoid the hash browns next time but a grand total of 4/5 for food and 5/5 total. Open Tuesday through Sunday for breakfast and lunch.“
“There was a time where long John silvers was the king of fish with no princes vying for the throne. However the ugly stepchild has reached age of maturity and has stamped his place in royal hierarchy. This prince which we will call captain dessert has developed spicy fish fillets and with those filets they have convinced a nation to put him on the throne in the near future.“
“Simply delicious. The loaded fried green tomato appetizer is the bomb and large enough to reasonably share with four people. The fish entree was cooked just right. The collard greens were good, although I'm not a huge fan of sugar in my greens. The wharf platter with grilled shrimp was wonderful, as were the garlic green beens and asparagus.“
