Best jalapeno poppers I have found around town. Pepper was hot . Mahi tacos were bomb with that lime zest.

We’d meant to try Flying Burro for a long time after hearing only good things. Finally tried it out for lunch. We were pleasantly greeted, order was taken quickly, and food arrived promptly. All was correctly prepared (I ordered my huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs instead of fried which they seemed happy to do). Everything looked great and was delicious. Looking at my companions gooey quesadilla, I wanted to grab a triangle, but was too full. They have a set special each day of the week, but prices were very reasonable. We’re so happy to have found a new “go to.” Great job!

Not sure of the purpose of the pepper tbh. Let’s get to the good stuff tho. Not sure how I feel about waiting 8 min (from the time I ordered til receiving my order) in the drive thru for a Mexicali steak burrito with no beans that’s clearly just rice and steak and nothing else for $14. Last time I was here (2 weeks ago) the Mexicali steak burrito, the way it comes, was way better. So idk if it’s the cooks or the recipe that changes but less talking and more working would definitely help. 8 min in the drive thru. Most people have a 15-30 min lunch.

My church crew and I went to Flying Burro after hearing much praise about it. Also, I wanted to see how much the old Long John Silver's building has changed since the newest Mexican restaurant has taken over the building. Upon entering, you can tell the overall setup is still the old Long John Silver's, but it looks... well.. cleaner. Not to mention, the color and ambiance has been updated to fit a Mexican restaurant. The queue/line is similar to ordering your food at a fast food restaurant... but trust me, you're not getting fast food, you're getting pretty good Mexican, albeit somewhat Tex Mexxy, still good. I ordered the lechon dinner. Since my family is from the Philippines, I have a love for lechon because it is a staple food in our cuisine. Ergo, this "bacon on crack" was good, but I digress that you can get better lechon from most Thrifty Produce markets. The big burrito was... well... big and from what my friend Rachel ate, it was loaded with a lot of ingredients that make it delicious. The quesidilla looked good but didn't have enough sides in my opinion. Finally, the loaded fries were delicious. You can add whatever toppings they offer to them too to fit your preference. The one thing I did not notice until after my meal were the specials written on a chalkboard and the fact breakfast is served all day. If I knew breakfast was served all day, I would have ordered myself some huevos rancheros. Overall, a very good initial visit to Flying Burro. Price of food is reasonable. Food overall is delicious, better than most but not the best of the best the Space Coast has to offer. Learning they have daily specials and all-day breakfasts adds another positive in their favor, too. For now, I am giving Flying Burro four out of five stars. Loved how this mom-and-pop does well on its own, but are they consistent? We will find out. If they are just as good after a couple more visits, they will earn their fifth star.

I gave it 2 stars because I only had 1 item and it's completely possible other things here are better. I had the grilled chicken burrito. All I tasted was beans. There was supposedly chicken cheese and sour cream in it but couldn't find anything other than beans. The young lady at the counter was great and the food came out quick. Just not good.

I ate here twice and thought it was pretty good. Just had it for the third time and it was even better. Beans and rice were great. They always have friendly service. I'll be eating here more often since it is so close to my work.

Really good Mexican tacos at a decent price. I did not really care for the rice and beans as they were quite bland, but the tacos were the star of the show. The churros were a bit stale and hard to chew. I will definitely check out the quesadillas and other items on the menu.
