This was the most horrible steak burger I have ever had. I immediately spit it out after biting into it! I never had Steak n Shake and thought I would go off my diet today and try it. HUGE MISTAKE!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY if I had one!

One of the only places left to get something to eat for less than $10.00. I haven’t been in a while and was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. There was a very nice lady that greeted us at the door to welcome us, she called herself the Stake n Shake ambassador. Very pleasant and helpful walking around asking if we needed anything ..the food was good as usual. If you are on a budget or just craving a great burger this is the place.

Thanks Ms. Theresa and crew... we had a very pleasant experience and the meals were fantastic! For fast food, we were treated like a sit down restaurant. I'd like to order thru a cashier but that's no fault of the current staff and Theresa was quick to offer assistance, as well as bring us milkshake spoons, and get the kids hats and cardboard cars to build.Kid-friendliness: The kids meal is plenty of food for a kid or preteen, and the drink can be subbed for an additional fee.

Love this place! A little too much. The steak burgers are just too good. And the fries, too. Try the garlic burger. My personal fave. Without a drink is less than 6 bucks. Shakes are fantastic too for a little treat!If you are local and frequent, download the app.Oh and the service is quick and friendly, too! Always staying on top of things
Steak 'n shake generally has good food and great milkshakes. They no longer have the mushroom Swiss burger which was one of the best things on the menu. They get a one for service because you know longer have face-to-face service with an employee you have to go in and use the computer to order your meal. It's really sad that we are teaching future generations that you don't have to speak to people, All you have to do is push buttons on a tablet.

**UPDATED ***I just lowered another star due to them consistently closing their drawers about an hour only so you can only use a card on my late nights i get paid cash and dont want to have to put a burger on a card because they are being lazy half the time I don't even bring my cards bc I know I will have cash. They won't even take exact change like to the penny I tried. I have worked in restaurants closing is done AFTER the restaurant closes they should not be starting it early.
