Finally got to try the "best damn crab cioppino". The seafood was really fresh and the tomato broth was tangy and rich in flavor without being overwhelming. Paired well with the bread, though I did wish the bread was toasted.
Y'all. Yelp needs to add a special gold star for this place. We had six east coast oysters that were good. Clam chowder that was awesome. Then came the star of the night - Cioppino for 2. There are no words to describe it. The Dungeness crab was delicious. The sauce is what made this dish so much better than others I've had. I called to make a reservation. No one answered and went to VM that they don't take reservations. Some other reviewers said they do. I didn't ask when I just walked in. Lucky no line before 7pm. It got full right after I got to sit down. Bar sitting was fun to watch open kitchen.
