“I love the whole vibe of this spot. The drinks, food and music was on point. I actually found this restaurant on tik tok. I recommend going here and I really return on my next vacation from here on out. The wings were very delicious you have to try those, I recommend them. Customer service was excellent, the best I’ve had in a long time.“
“I googled souse cause it was a Miami delicacy and seen this place so I was like let’s try it and yes I wasn’t disappointed at all I had the pork souse which there portions are very big and worth the money if you are in Miami or Fort Lauderdale go and see “
“Flavorz is a great takeout option. The food is delicious and well seasoned. I had the combo shrimp and rich behavior wings. The rich behavior wings are lemon pepper on steroids. The shrimp were jumbo shrimp so well worth the upcharge. Tuna macaroni salad was on good but nothing extraordinary. The yams were good , it was well seasoned with cinnamon. You can uber eats or call in. I did check the uber eats menu first and not all the items were on the app. I ended up calling in and the wait would be 25 min. I highly suggest you call in your order. Food was already ready when I arrived. Customer service is A++“
“The moment I stepped through the door of this BBQ paradise with seafood essence. The rustic decor and warm atmosphere set the perfect stage for a delightful dining experience. The staff's our people friendly and the enticing menu made it clear that this was more than just a meal – it was a barbecue adventure waiting to happen. From the succulent ribs to the flavorful sides, every bite was a taste sensation. This restaurant's door doesn't just open to a dining space; it invites you to savor the essence of BBQ perfection.“
“Me and my family were in Miami. My wife had to sing at a funeral. We decided to look up Soul Food Restaurants and glad we settled on this establishment. Im so sorry, but I totally forgot the lady's name at the counter. When I get it I'm returning to add it. However, she displayed GREAT Customer Relation Skills. Actually, my wife sung a song to her encouraging and inspiring her before we left. That bbq chicken and etc was tasteful. We'll Be Back! ????“
“I've been here twice since moving to the area, and I keep daydreaming about the fried wings in between visits. I should try something new next time... The $10 mimosas are nice and strong, but I'm not much of a drinker, so they may not be that strong. Try them yourselves??“
“The food at this restaurant is very tasty. The service is fantastic. It almost feels like home when we visit this restaurant. It's very cozy, warm, and you feel very at home. You definitely have to come here for all your fried conch and grilled grouper needs. 5 stars !!“
“I wish there was a branch of this restaurant in my city! I absolutely adored it during my two visits to Miami. The first time, I had the salmon, and on my return, I tried the jerk chicken pasta. The portion sizes are just right, not too big or too small. Their broccoli is simply divine—truly the best I've ever had. The ambiance inside is fantastic, with great music and minimal wait times. The only downside is finding free parking, but that seems to be the case everywhere in Miami.“
“Our Papa’s Kitchen did two things so RIGHT that I didn’t realize it was missing from so many other places until I came here. I was never too big on lemon pepper seasoning, I usually prefer other spices on my chicken wings. But when my niece offered me to try hers, I was blown away! Delicious! (That’s the first thing) I went right over there! Then, as I picked up my food and was leaving, not only did the cashier thank me with genuine gratitude (so much that I turned to look at her and smile) BUT then I heard a “Thank You!” shouted from back in the kitchen. Wow! These people don’t even know me; they must really appreciate their customers. So unexpected, yet so impressive! Great food and great customer service don’t seem to show up at the same time these days. But that day, in that place, that’s what I got! So worth it!!“
“A good spot for a delicious, no frills meal. I stopped in for Sunday brekkie around 9am. This place was busy and only kept getting busier. Dine in and take out orders were coming in left & right. This business is really supported by the local community. So much so that while you're trying to place your order, someone will come in and start up a conversation with the person taking your order, thus making the ordering process a bit longer than it should be. If you dine in, there are a couple dark tables and some gospel music playing. The food is cooked to order, and it's worth the wait. The prices aren't too bad, either. The bathroom was dark, but clean, and served it's purpose. I will for sure be back for those fried pork chops and grits. Yummmmm!“
“This is soul food at its best! Was recommended this place by several people that go to MDC North which is nearby, and couldn’t have been more pleased with the food. The ribs are truly special, I ordered mine with the sauce on them but you’re give the choice and they can serve it on a container on the side. There are other protein choices, and you have to choose one rice option and 2 sides (I got corn and baked beans) they also provide a slice of corn bread- everything was very tasty. It is worth mentioning that there are no tables to eat on site, but the staff pack and prepare the food to go and provide cutlery and napkins. Also at least when I went it was cash only - but the prices are more than reasonable. The staff is very attentive as well. Will absolutely return, this is a true find“
“I wanted some soul food and Tippy’s snatched my soul. I had turkey wings, greens, and mac and it was on point. I got my food within minutes and the customer service was on was quick and the customer service was the real reason I thought to leave a review. I would definitely recommend and I will be back. I tip my hat to Tippy’s.“
“My boyfriend has been looking for the best ribs in Dade county for years and he finally found the spot. The food and customer experience are excellent and while it’s not exactly “close” for us, it’s well worth the drive. Can’t wait to return“
“Nice accomodation and service. We are fresh off of a 7 day cruise and headed back to TX tomorrow. We made this place our 1st stop for breakfast and we are so satisfied. We had the Breakfast Special (Cheesey grits and eggs) w/added Talapia, a honey butter biscuit and passion fruit drink, as well as shrimp and grits w/out the sauce. The flavor was on point and the portion sizes were very filling. We paid around $32. This place did not disappoint one bit. We will definitely stop again should we ever come back to the area. Thank you "Taste of Grace" for a great experience. The Location did look a bit sketchy but we didnt let it intimidate us. We liked the food that was advertised on google and took a chance. Im so glad we did cause....Yummmyyy?Parking: Limited space for parking“
“First time coming to this establishment, and will be returning. Drinks were mixed perfectly. The seasonings on all the food was perfect. Shout out to our cooks; Unc and Steve. And especially to our server Sug (happy birthday). DEFINITELY A GO TO SPOT.“
“So I am Long overdue for a review as I did not know it was a Yelp. But here it is this place is 5/5 and I have eaten both breakfast and now dinner. Breakfast is simply delicious and wait time id not long. Salmon croquette, grits and flops are top tier. Below in the picture I place different dinner items below. There is the fried conch which was cooked to perfection , Mac & cheese someone grandma back there, grilled shrimp, yellow rice and those string beans are literally awesome and slow cooked made with love. Every time I'm on that side of town I stop by. Also breakfast sold all day.“
“I quick googled soul food from the airport after visiting my family in New York and just feeling nostalgic. I saw this place and the vibration in the photo on google said “come on in” the space smells amazing. The floors are sparkly clean. The host and hostess were so kind and so generous with information and serving size.I was with my friend we orderedThe Sunday BBQ specials of Ribs and ChickenRice and Peaa, mac n cheese, string beans, fried okra, and plantains. Everything is freshly made and delicious. The vintage signs and art and clocks remind me of all my grandparents and community back home. I will recommend this space to friends and family and be visitor more! Thank YOU“
“I give this place a 5Even though they did not open up on time .They food was great . The staff was great .My fried chicken was delicious . It was cooked just right . Both my sides were good as well. The mystery drink was okay to be honest I couldn’t tell what was in the drink. This place is not cheap at all but it was worth it . I had a small problem which was this restaurant only accepts debit cards with a chip( something of that nature )But I had cash so that was not a big problem for me. I went when they first opened so of course I experienced no wait time . I would go back to this place and eat. I enjoyed every second I was there“
