Margaritas were great and refreshing on a warm night. I ordered the birria tacos and oddly enough, didn't come with beans and rice even though the menu said they did. I asked about them and the server said ,those don't come with it, didn't explain why. Tacos were very flavorful and coworker ordered the burrito. Live music on Fridays and a packed house but not shoulder to shoulder packed. Security was all in my phone thinking I was recording at the bar, but it was on photo mode. Nosey need glasses!!! You can not video the bar, but you can video the live band. Overall it's a nice bar with reasonably priced drinks. Food is available as well with free food after 12am on Fridays. The free food was pretty good, pasta with meatballs and rice. There's a raffle as well $3 for 5 tickets or $5 for 10.“

I have tried steak sandwiche, chicken wings and shimp and tostones! Very tasty and made pretty quick. What I like mostly about this place is it's combination for bar,/ dance floor/ pool table setup with many TVs for sports. Music is upon request. Mostly Latin music but I have seen then cater to every demographic according to request by customers. They are open till 5am sat and Sunday and continue to serve beers ect to its customers up until closing. Each individual coming into the Place is checked for weapons . “I have been here multiple times, the food is pretty good and it’s close to the hotel I stay at when I cruise out of Miami. It’s not a huge place but it’s very warm and comfortable. The service is usually good but sometimes it’s a little slow as it tends to get busy. Staff is always amazing though and friendly. “So impressed. Like, rarely impressed but this place was amazing. We dropped our son off for a football game at Doral Meadows, two hours before his game. Decided we would go somewhere for a cocktail and dinner, then return to see the game start. After looking at all the options on yelp, we opted for this place. We saw some folks on the patio. I walked in with my wife and my 10 year old son. The staff was super friendly, but told us that they had an event starting soon and could only seat us outside. It was hot so we thanked them and left. Right before our feet hit the parking lot, Carlos came out and stopped us. "Hey, are you just here for dinner? Please, come inside. The event starts at 8, so you have time to eat." Awesome. Inside, the restaurant impressed. Beautiful decor, a high end direct view display, electro voice speakers (I'm an audio/video nerd). The menu was full of great looking stuff, from ribs and burgers to kalamari and chicharrón. My son ordered a kid's ribeye and mashed potatoes- his favorites. My wife and I ordered an espresso martini and a margarita, and opted to try three appetizers instead of an entree. We got the burrata, the chicharrones, and the shrimp ceviche. First, my wife loved the margarita. It's her go-to on date nights, so she was happy. Second, I'm not lying when I say this was the best espresso martini I have ever had. I order them very regularly, and am very picky. This was not too sweet, not too tart, and extra shaken so it was ice cold and foamy. Absolutely delicious. The chicharrones were really good. Awesome snack. The burrata was incredible. The ceviche was insanely good. I finished my kid's steak, and it was as good a ribeye as you would find in top notch steakhouses. From the kids menu. Awesome. We may even drive the 35 minutes away to experience this place again. Not only is the food great, but the staff is attentive and friendly. Great little spot.“

“Their nachos are a huge amount of food for a relatively low price and their ribs and wings are excellent.On Sunday through Thursday, they have Joe's Meal Deals that give you a drink, a salad, rolls, a potato dish, and a main dish for a decent price. The meal deals and some other specials aren't in the regular menus but are in the small white binder on your table.They also print on your receipt a coupon for their liquor store just south of the restaurant across 95th Street.They have seating inside and outside of the restaurant. If the restaurant is busy, you'll have to wait in the front of the restaurant for a table, though you can join the waiting list while you're on the way there.Parking: Has paid parking on Harding Avenue in front of the restaurant and in the parking lot in the back of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Has a video arcade room.“

“This visit was unacceptable. We were a party of 7 on a Wednesday night after an event. Was given a booth for all of us , which we didn't fit. Had to request a chair and put it in the aisle. Waited approximately 15-20 minutes, and no one would come to attend us. Had to flag someone down to get to attend our table. 30 minutes after we sat down, we finally had a waitress. We asked her if we could get the booth next to ours to spread out. She had to get permission, and that took another 10-15 minutes, and still we haven't ordered. Overall, it took 3 hours for a 1-1 1/2 hour visit. Not happy with the service that evening.“

I never had an issue in the many years going there.Sadly, many local places are suffering and closing from high wages, high food prices due to higher food costs. Inflation. Your $15 wage will get you about $9 worth of food. “We stopped by today for a couple of reasons. We needed a bottle of Casamigos tequila to take to a party this evening, and we wanted to see the new NBV location of Happy's Lounge and Liquor Store. I have heard for years that Happy's is a fun, casual, old school kind of bar that everyone has been to at least once. It is a neighborhood kind of bar where most of the patrons know each other. It has been around for years.It actually looks comfortable and welcoming inside. I took a few pics. They serve wine, beer, and cocktails. You can also get bar food like a Philly cheesecake that tastes really good. The menu is limited but has enough popular meals to make everyone happy!There is free parking in a large attached lot. They have outdoor dining on the patio. Smoking is allowed outside on the patio. There are other businesses around it. We plan to come back and have a Happy's experience.“
