“We had an amazing experience ordering Taiko Sushi in our stay in Miami, the delivery was fast and the fish was very fresh, you can notice the quality of the food at a glance also, the presentation of the pieces were also very good and well organized in the “barco” I will definitely order it again in our next stay in Miami.“

My only issue with this place is they cut the fish in the morning so if you go later on in the day say around 6 pm the fish might be a little dry. That wasn't the case with my food however. “This is by far my favorite restaurant in Miami. The staff is incredibly attentive (I dropped my chopsticks and they came with an extra set before I could even pick them up, they held doors open and were so kind). Besides that the food was so yummy, and they made sure to adhere to the restrictions of my gluten free siblings. The ambience is stunning with outside seating and not too much noise. “My Tokyo born wife and I usually sit at the counter and talk to the chef while he works. We could not do that here but we enjoyed dinner even though it was served in groups of sushi. The toro was very good as was the eel. Sake options were wide and we enjoyed a bottle of dry sake. It is a small space not as cluttered as our dives in Tokyo but ii did have a nice family feel. The staff was very helpful and kind. We asked for "small rice" and they did as we asked. It is sort of tucked in to the back of a large condo building and finding it takes a bit of persistence.“

“The only Thai restaurant we came across that serves mango sticky rice. We found the sticky rice to be little over sticky lol but the mango was sweet so that made up for it. We ordered panang curry , salmon panang and pineapple fried rice, everything was yummy. The only thing was the salmon wasn't that spicy as requested. Surprisingly the restaurant was packed on a weekday and we loved the upbeat music that kept on playing, it made us feel like we were dining in midtown. She was kind of rude to me anyways so all I asked for was soy sauce for my food that I spent $100 on and she tells me oh it’s in the back so I just wanted a little extra soy sauce I do like soy sauce so when I asked for a little extra she gave me two packets and I said well can I have just a little more please and she says well how much more do you want, so I said about six or seven please and she said six or seven??? And it was so rude. She did not want to give me the soy sauce to the point where she went and asked her manager if it’s OK if I have six or seven soy sauces after I just purchased $100 worth of food absolutely not OK, especially when your guises food is so expensive how it is I cannot say that I will go and eat at this restaurant again or order from there.“

We ordered orange chicken, Kani Su (krab, avocado, masago in a cucumber wrap), an avocado roll, California roll, steak teriyaki, and Thai donuts. The Kani Su was good, with subtle hints of seeetness I'd rate it a 7.5-8/10, and the avocado roll was a good palate cleanser. I didn't have any of the steak teriyaki or orange chicken, but both were hits with the kids. California roll wasn't mine either, but I had a bite and it was exactly what you'd expect. The miso soup was off, couldn't really tell what but maybe too much tofu? Not the best miso soup I've had. Overall, decent place that doesn't necessarily wow but also definitely doesn't disappoint.
