“We celebrated our kids' sixth birthday with a dozen very loud and difficult-to-control children. The staff and the owner were extremely nice and patient and made it one of the best birthdays we've had for any of our kids. This place is awesome. I would give six stars if I could. A+ in every sense. Food, ambience, staff, everything you want in a pizza place. Long live Pummarola“

“Friends recommended highly. The online menu made us question whether it’s worth the trip (looks like a pizza place). We got there (fairly inconspicuous look) and were unsure. Until we got the food. Boom. Excellent! Every dish has a positive twist. Including the pizza :) Highly recommended“

“I wish I took pictures !! I came at night during a weekday so service was a bit slow but that did not affect the service or food . I’m so use to food in wynwood /midtown being a hit or miss ( and pricy ) that I instantly had low expectations, but the food was reasonably priced and portioned well . I had the Hawaiian pizza w/hot honey wings . The 6 pice wings came with a side of sauce if you want & some celery. Side note - the restroom is adorable , I love the lemon/bird themed wall paper .

“Luissell and her team were absolutely PERFECT for our rehearsal dinner. We got married at the Ritz in Key Biscayne, after a COVID-canceled Amalfi Coast wedding. We wanted a casual and friendly trattoria feel for our rehearsal dinner, similar to the welcome pizza party we had planned in Ravello. Luissell delivered. She helped set up all of the decorations without hesitation. In fact, when I arrived to deliver them 3 days before our wedding, my maid of honor had just tested positive for covid and couldn’t attend our wedding. Luissell was patient and kind to me. The food, service and ambiance at our rehearsal dinner was exceptional and exceeded every expectation. Luissell and her staff went above and beyond to make my husband and I, our 80+ year old parents and all of our guests feel special. The chef is a culinary genius. The staff is well trained and very good at their craft. The food, pizza, wine and price point is perfectly on point. Portions are huge and delicious. And the warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere is something that I still go back to as often as I can. Don’t underestimate the magic of this corner spot!“

“I went there Last Saturday with my mom and my two fur babies so we sat outside of course and Rebecca was Soooo super friendly and helpful that it made it our visit there extremely enjoyable. The ambiance and service are excellent. The food: Was so super tasty and flavorful. We ordered the Bruschetta (delicious), the prosciutto and mozzarella (fabulous) and a pizza (stunning). We absolutely enjoyed everything and will definitely be returning. My fur babies had an excellent time as well and they will also be returning with us. “I had a great experience at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, and a big part of that was thanks to Hallie! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcome and taken care of. Hallie was friendly, attentive, and really knew the menu well she made great recommendations that we ended up loving. It’s rare to find someone who strikes the perfect balance between professional and personable, but she nailed it. You can tell she cares about her work and wants guests to have a good time. I’ll definitely be coming back and hoping Hallie’s our server again!“
