“The star of the visit was obviously the food. The sandwiches were outstanding. The hype was strong and I was worried that there would be a let down. Worry not, if you enjoy a good cubano or just a sandwich fan, Sanguich is a required stop in Miami. Besides the cubano, the pan con lechon was also outstanding.Cafecito did not disappoint. Service was also great for how busy they were. The only downside to Sanguich is their location. Limited parking in front of the restaurant and the restaurant itself is tiny. Rent would be more, but they really should expand to a bigger location to be able to serve more diners quicker.“

The only thing I gave a recommendation was the drinks... they are worth $13, but the glasses are very small, in terms of price and quantity, they should offer them a little larger and let it be known that I am not a drinker. “I never get tired of going to this restaurant, because it is very good, it is a very happy and familiar place, the food is good and cheap, the service from the employees is magnificent, especially the waitress Katty who is efficient, very friendly and attentive. Frank's music livens up and brightens the place. You can dance if you wish. His fruit shakes are the best in Miami and you can pay with food stamps. The SW is missing more places like this. They do everything in Hialeah. El Ranchito Market Place has a very good location in the SW. They should make branches in other parts of the SW. My husband had the seafood fried rice and it too was amazing! My only critique is that the wait staff is spread a little thin and so service is not as attentive as I think it should be for the prices you are paying, but this is a unique and amazing experience, we will definitely be back“

“The food and drinks for the most part were good but obviously the live entertainment and vibes were what made it. The host was friendly but the servers were a bit inattentive and they were hard to grab their attention. They also never checked in on us. We had two servers, one at our table inside and one outside. They also charge 7% service charge on top of the automatic 18% tip here - which other Miami restaurants don’t do (they just charge 20% automatically). I would come back just for the live entertainment and the outdoor seating in the back. We smoked our cigars there and it was a beautiful setting.“

“Highly recommended from a lot of people in the Calle Ocho area. I will say, nothing beats $6 all day Mojito Mondays so that for sure was my favorite part. Bonus points if you're actually there on a Monday, and we sure were. After snacking around and trying different bites around Calle Ocho, it was time for a meal, an authentic Cuban meal. From croquetas to sandwiches, fufu to rice and beans, here you will find all the delicious staples. We ordered mariquitas because these felt so nostalgic to me from years ago and our friends always ordering them and sadly they weren't as fresh as we would've liked and the mojo was straight up garlic (flavorless). Either way we loved our rice and beans and the sweet maduros we got. Our friends ordered sandwiches and they were HUGE (big enough to share). El Pub is a big staple of Calle Ocho but next time we'll probably try something else when we're not in a hurry. Definitely a quick place to get a sit down meal or sandwich, so if you're just casually dining or needed to be on the faster side, this place is pretty great for that. Mojito Monday, we will be back. DESSERT: leave. space. for. FLAN. That's all I'll“

“If you're a fan of croquetas such as myself, "Dos Croquetas" is absolutely a must-try when visiting Miami. Some might ask "what exactly is a croqueta?". In simple terms, they are about the same size of a mozzarella stick, deep fried and usually filled with béchamel sauce, mashed potatoes, cheese, and meat. In fact, the options are endless with thousands of customizable creations. They are a very popular side/appetizer in the Latin culture and are a great quick snack to eat on the go. Located directly on 8th St (Calle Ocho) in between SW 15th & 16th Ave. in the heart of the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami, this place has been dishing out delicious croquetas since early-2024. I came here on a whim (during the afternoon of Sunday 3/17/2024 at 1:30pm) as I was craving a small bite and this place absolutely delivered. As far as the exterior of the building, it was quite easy to find due to the colorful array of forest green with a splash of pink and yellow on the awning. The interior brings that same colorful artwork which truly give this place a Miami vibe. Their menu offers not only Cuban craft croquetas (in 10 different flavors) but also sandwiches, sides, breakfast (served until 4pm), and Dulce dessert bites. They also carry craft shakes to cool you off on the sweltering hot & muggy Florida days. Since this was my first time trying their food and didn't want to go too overboard before dinner, I ordered just (1) of the "305". This croqueta had Cuban-styled picadillo , sweet plantains, and queso blanco with their signature dale sauce. Total price, only $2.20 before tax. Service was quick and my snack was ready in just a couple minutes. As far as the taste, this absolutely hit the spot for me. Crunchy on the outside while warm, cheezy, and savory on the inside, this was absolutely delicious and actually tasted like nothing I've ever tried before. They offer so many other delectable croquetas including "Medianoche" (pork, ham, & swiss), "Mexican Street Corn", "Creamy Spinach", and much more. They have very respectable hours being opened Sunday-Thursday from 10am-10pm and Friday-Saturday from 10am-12am. With the exceptional service, prime location, great atmosphere, and reasonable prices, I am giving the Little Havana "Dos Croquetas" a perfect five stars.“

“The food tastes good. Masas fritas are great! The colada is also good. The amount is not a lot , but i guess that for a non real cuban place is good. Ambience is cute, a simple place to grab something with some taste after 8pm because they close late. It’s an ok place , i would say is like the McDonalds of cuban food. Maybe i come back another dayHi ? owner of Cuban guys .Im editing my review in hope you read this, sorry I didn’t know you were cuban , what made me think it wasn’t a real cuban place was the beans, usually my grandma made those with caldo and you had to eat it with a spoon and also all other cuban places in miami if you ask for beans they give you that potaje , but here beens had no caldo so it hit me like more of mexican beans like for the tacos , even with arroz at other places they do it with caldo “ pa que moje “ like my mom says , so it was that an d a couple other recipes variations but i see i was wrong, sorry. Thank you for your reply and work in this place is good. Keep it up ? keep it real keep it cuban. “Best kept secret in allapattah(neighborhood next to wynwood). I found this place when I first moved into the wynwood area. It’s a little place with everything you need and the prices are the best in the area. The ladies who work here are all really nice and give you great service. The centro American breakfast is my favorite. The place isn’t much to look at but the food is good, the service is great, and the prices are unbeatable.“

“Repeat visit. Wife & I just flew in from Paris and stayed nearby last night. Woke up starving. This is all we were looking forward to this afternoon for lunch. Great service.Waitresses remind me of when and how my mom would serve me food when I was a child. Great traditional cuban cuisine.Always go for the specials of the day. Food is super fresh due to its high turnover. Also the daily specials come out in a few minutes.Don't order too much from daily specials because the entire order will come out at once at the same time. Large dining room with high tops and regular tables. When busy the restaurant gets loud. It's a Latin thing. We speak loudly. It's a cultural thing.I'm guilty of it too. Traditional Cuban restaurant. We love it. Come and Enjoy!!!“

“The bakery items are great. But, I’m a customer of your bakery in Little Havana on Sw 8th street. You are sitting on a gold mine but you REALLY REALLY need more cashiers and more help behind the counter. I was just there to pickup last minute party platters. There was a line. Lots of tourists and locals But service was super slow. People were walking out. People were waiting to pay. There was even a customer he came to pickup a huge sheet cake and the bakery had no box. The guy had to take it to Ft. Lauderdale without a box? Are you guys serious? How do you guys not have a box for such a huge cake order? The cashier was busy helping fill orders thus the line of people waiting to pay. You must improve this. I thought you should know.“

“We went for brunch. The dishes were gigantic and we couldn't finish everything we ordered.I had a Cuban sandwich and it was both good and spectacularly large. They provided us with containers to take what was left with us.Very friendly service, and like everywhere in Miami, the waiters speak Spanish.Wheelchair accessibility: They take place on a terrace on the street, because there are stairs inside and it is prepared for people with reduced mobility.“

“Stopped by for a cuban sandwich and orange juice and overall a pleasant experience. The restaurant offers small parking lot, a window counter for take outs only, and indoor seating. The orange juice was fresh and delicious. The sandwich was surprisingly unusually salty though the bread is amazing. Would recommend checking this place out at least once though personally would opt for other place for a cuban sandwich.“

“My husband and I stopped in a New Years Day and were glad to see that they were open. My husband and I sat at the bar. A woman then greeted us and took gave us menus. I was surprised to find that they had so many options as I have only really only had fritas here. My husband ordered his usual frita but I went with the ham omelet sandwich. I asked for the crispy fries on the side as I feel that sometimes it is too much. When my sandwich came it was pretty big. The crispy fries were actually fresh not like everywhere else. The sandwich was pretty bugs my husband enjoyed his frita and I enjoyed my sandwich. The location is not the nicest but this is the kind of place you go to get a frita.“

“I, as a person who is very familiar with this part of Miami, I can confidently say this is THE BEST Cuban place in Miami. Their tostados are my moms favorite to get, and is one of her main reasons to come to Miami. For me, the skirt steak is so good, It is juicy, flavorful, and all in general perfecto! The beans here are to die for, they are one of, if not the best in Miami. This place is the best for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Compliments to the chef!!!Kid-friendliness: Since I basically lived around the block of this place as a kid, I can firmly say they were welcoming.“

“From the moment I stepped into this charming Cuban fusion restaurant nestled in the vibrant heart of Westchester, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and sophisticated, setting the stage for a culinary experience that's as delightful as it is memorable. At the helm of this culinary adventure is a chef who is not just professional, but genuinely friendly and eager to please. It's rare to find someone so passionate about their craft, yet so approachable. For those who appreciate the finer things in life, their unique selection of wines is a breath of fresh air. Curated with care, it features gems you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere in Miami, elevating the dining experience to new heights. Now, let's talk about the paella. As someone who is exceedingly picky about this dish, I can confidently say this restaurant's paella transcends expectations. The shrimp, lobster, mussels, and calamari were unmistakably fresh, and the dish was cooked to absolute perfection, complete with the coveted socarrat that aficionados of paella will instantly recognize and appreciate. It's this attention to detail and commitment to quality that truly sets this restaurant apart.Don't just take my word for it—go and experience the magic for yourself. You won't be disappointed.“

“Family style dining. Excellent Cuban food. Our dinner was so good we went back for lunch the next day. I had fish dishes both days that were amazing. My husband said it was the best authentic Cuban sandwich he’s had in years. The restaurant was filled with families and couples, and everybody seem to be enjoying themselves. Some of the staff do not speak English, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem. Looking forward to returning.“
