“Love this place especially on my way to work where I can grab a colada or cortadito and run! It's a mom and pop small cafeteria that have breakfast and lunch, and it's always packed and flowing. The people that run it are attentive and fast. The space is super small but they do have some high tops seating area if you want to sit and eat your food. Love that North Bay Village has a place like this.“
“Not sure what's up with all the hate on this spot. For non Spanish speaking people (I'm not fluent, but am fluent enough to communicate), I can see things potentially being difficult. However, the service I received was amazing and the restaurant was doing EVERYTHING above and beyond in terms of COVID protocol. I went with the #19 (name escapes my mind). It was medium steak, grilled veggies, french fries, rice, and black beans. I added a ton of the vast array of hot sauces. The meaI was downright outstanding. The citrus fIavors and combination of meat/veggies were to die for. Take out onIy spot that is known for their breakfast, too! DefiniteIy wiII be returning next time I am in Miami.“

“Super petit restaurant à Little havana. Vous pouvez commander viande, poisson… et manger dans une superbe ambiance. La serveuse Liudmila est très sympathique et vous conseille . Nous avons pris un plat de poisson . Vous mangerez dans une ambiance musicale cubaine . Demandez à manger à la terrasse c’est plus sympa et moins bruyant que le bar“

“It is a small place, but the food is very delicious. There was a long line to get in but it is worth it. The tables are a bit small since they are only made for 3 people, but other than that a good place located in Little Havana.Parking: The parking lot was very full, it took us a long time waiting for another car to come out so we could park.“

Service and atmosphere is everything you expect from a Cuban Havana vibe. My family ordered the Cubano sandwich and calamari. Fry's game with a nice Chipotle sauce and the cubanos came with perfectly toasted bread. Service was great, we couldn't have a asked for a better downtown Miami Cuban experience. “Just landed to Miami and had to check this place out. Place is huge great to bring the entire family, if you want to sit on the benches they are also available with quick service for both. The entire staff here were super friendly. I enjoyed my cafe con leche and tostada so much. The orange juice was delicious. If you live near by you have to check this place out. If you're visiting this just be your 1st place to come. The prices here are great.“

“If you’re going to get Cuban food in Miami, this is where you need to go. Not only does the food absolutely slap (and there are a lot more vegetarian options than other Cuban places) but our server Manny made us feel like we were old friends; he gave us his honest opinions, great recommendations, and we’ve even got some new inside jokes.Vegetarian options: Tostones. Love!!“

“We came to this place on the recommendation of a person who works on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship named Adelaida of Peruvian origin. We tried the trilogy of ceviches, all delicious, the one we liked the most is the one with the winning or traditional sauce, so much so that we visited said restaurant twice. The service was excellent, Luciana and Daniela assisted us on the first day and Daniela on the second day, very attentive and professional, luxurious attention. We were fortunate to meet Mr. Mauricio who told us about the preparation and preparation of ceviches.“

“I had the opportunity to visit this wonderful place located on the emblematic Ocean Dr. Street. My husband and I arrived for something very quiet, without any desire to drink, and we were greeted at the table by a girl with a wonderful smile. Gabi explained the menu to us and why. The restaurant was called Havana 1957, this girl captivated and made the experience unique and special. 100% recommended The Super pineapple mojito and the super special Cuban Combo.“

“Wow! What a wonderful place to visit in Miami. I saw the owner, Mika, on a few cooking shows and had to go to her restaurant after seeing how good her food was! I was not disappointed either, the food was delicious, atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff was super nice. I would recommend checking this place out if you ever get the chance because the food will make your taste buds and your tummy happy. I'd recommend the appetizer sampler and the Vaca frita sandwich. Both were amazing! I will be visiting this place when I come back to Miami, and hopefully Mika will be there so I can tell her personally how great her recipes are!“

“This place is amazing! Wonderful entertainment and the food is superb. Think Chinese/asian meets Cuban. We had The papas bravas, crispy gyozas and Octopus (btw the octopus was OUT OF THIS WORLD - think egg foo young from a Chinese restaurant, but octopus - this dish was by far my favorite and blew me away from a creativity standpoint)For main, I had the Sea Bass, perfectly cooked and the avocado poblano puree was such a nice touch. My husband had the seafood fried rice and it too was amazing! My only critique is that the wait staff is spread a little thin and so service is not as attentive as I think it should be for the prices you are paying, but this is a unique and amazing experience, we will definitely be back“

“Very large portions (includes nearly a loaf of bread lol), could possibly share and the price was super cheap for Miami! Only like $22 for 2 breakfasts :)) Great little quick spot to stop at. Lots of drink options too if wanted. Was busy so maybe that’s why it was a bit long to get our food. Has some spots to eat inside but not a lot.“

“From my recent visit to Hollywood, I found a gem of a dining spot - Padrino’s. Visiting not once, but twice, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of the food, coupled with incredibly reasonable prices. The experience was seamless, even when accommodating a large group of 21, showcasing their exemplary service. The staff managed everything flawlessly, including the usually daunting task of splitting the check 21 ways. The mango Caesar salad adorned with perfectly cooked shrimp is a must try. Having ordered this dish twice, I can vouch for both its consistency and quality. The ropa vieja, served in just the right portion size, was bursting with flavor, beautifully complemented with my choice of sides that included soft, buttery yucca and flawlessly cooked sweet plantains.Dessert was no less spectacular, with the flan standing out as a true showstopper. Its texture was impeccably smooth, the flavor beautifully balanced and not overly sweet, topped with a divinely bittersweet caramel. For anyone in Hollywood looking for a meal that promises to be both a delight to the palate and gentle on the wallet, Padrino’s is the place to go. Their ability to handle large groups with ease, consistency in food quality, and outstanding service truly sets them apart.“

“If you're a fan of croquetas such as myself, "Dos Croquetas" is absolutely a must-try when visiting Miami. Some might ask "what exactly is a croqueta?". In simple terms, they are about the same size of a mozzarella stick, deep fried and usually filled with béchamel sauce, mashed potatoes, cheese, and meat. In fact, the options are endless with thousands of customizable creations. They are a very popular side/appetizer in the Latin culture and are a great quick snack to eat on the go. Located directly on 8th St (Calle Ocho) in between SW 15th & 16th Ave. in the heart of the Little Havana neighborhood of Miami, this place has been dishing out delicious croquetas since early-2024. I came here on a whim (during the afternoon of Sunday 3/17/2024 at 1:30pm) as I was craving a small bite and this place absolutely delivered. As far as the exterior of the building, it was quite easy to find due to the colorful array of forest green with a splash of pink and yellow on the awning. The interior brings that same colorful artwork which truly give this place a Miami vibe. Their menu offers not only Cuban craft croquetas (in 10 different flavors) but also sandwiches, sides, breakfast (served until 4pm), and Dulce dessert bites. They also carry craft shakes to cool you off on the sweltering hot & muggy Florida days. Since this was my first time trying their food and didn't want to go too overboard before dinner, I ordered just (1) of the "305". This croqueta had Cuban-styled picadillo , sweet plantains, and queso blanco with their signature dale sauce. Total price, only $2.20 before tax. Service was quick and my snack was ready in just a couple minutes. As far as the taste, this absolutely hit the spot for me. Crunchy on the outside while warm, cheezy, and savory on the inside, this was absolutely delicious and actually tasted like nothing I've ever tried before. They offer so many other delectable croquetas including "Medianoche" (pork, ham, & swiss), "Mexican Street Corn", "Creamy Spinach", and much more. They have very respectable hours being opened Sunday-Thursday from 10am-10pm and Friday-Saturday from 10am-12am. With the exceptional service, prime location, great atmosphere, and reasonable prices, I am giving the Little Havana "Dos Croquetas" a perfect five stars.“
