“I was looking for pizza near the Bayfront Park area, and my friend recommended Bens Pizza.

Bens Pizza is a casual spot right with waterfront views. I first ordered the veggie slice, complete with zucchini, yellow and red bell peppers, and eggplant. Truthfully, I was not expecting much because of the proximity to all the tourist spots.

I was surprised at the great quality and went back for seconds: a classic cheese slice. But here's the breakdown:

I thought the toppings were distributed well. It was just the right amount - but I did wish the eggplant was a little more fresh. It was dry.

The cheese is a very thin layer, as well as the sauce. I love a saucy pizza, but I understand the light sauce is a compromise in order to make the thin crust possible.

The highlight of Bens Pizza is definitely the crust. It's carefully calculated to be thin, fold with ease, and yet has that nice crunch to it in the right spots. See photo and you'll know what I mean. Great ode to New York style pizza.

Pricing seems what you would expect to pay because of the proximity to the waterfront/ action. The slices are big - they cut mine into two smaller slices. I would definitely come back next time I'm in Miami! Thanks, guys.“

The highlight of my visit was their Portonovo Pizza. It was absolutely divine—perfectly cooked with a crispy crust, fresh and flavorful toppings, and a delightful balance of textures and flavors. It’s easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had.

The women at the front said “You can ask, but I am not entirely sure” and that was good enough for me.The bartender, Chris, was extremely helpful and personable, and I wanted to create my own personal pizza, so he called out a chef to help me.One of the chefs, Tony an experienced foodie from NY, came out to discuss the order I wanted and told me it would be a little pricier as I wanted a “fat sandwich pizza” a staple from where I am in NJ and where I went to college.This pizza is a white pizza with no sauce besides buffalo drizzled over the top piled high with mozzarella cheese, french fries, chicken tender pieces and mozzarella sticks.The pizza was AMAZING, one of the best fat sango’s I had ever eaten, maybe they will put it on their menu for me :-).The price was $35 for this one pizza as the bartender whom was extremely busy accidentally charged me for a cheese pizza + a side of all the toppings. “All Stars is by far one of the best pizzerias in the area. Great tasting pizzas and the garlic bread is amazing. Love the fact that it's one of the few real pizzerias that allows you to truly customize their pies. And as for the service, they take it seriously, and very professional. I’m so use to food in wynwood /midtown being a hit or miss ( and pricy ) that I instantly had low expectations, but the food was reasonably priced and portioned well . I had the Hawaiian pizza w/hot honey wings . The 6 pice wings came with a side of sauce if you want & some celery. Side note - the restroom is adorable , I love the lemon/bird themed wall paper .

“First time trying this place per my sister’s recommendation.

So we ordered from DoorDash. Ordered the pizzas and the dole whip sour beer. When our order was delivered, we just got the pizzas, since the delivery guy said they didn’t fill our drink because we didn’t buy the glass to fill it. Well, FYI, if you’re ordering from DoorDash, something to keep in mind is that there’s no option to buy the glass bottle, which doesn’t make sense at all if it gives you the option to buy the drink. So in the end, we still had to go there to buy the glass for the drink that was already paid for which defeats the whole purpose of ordering food/drink to have delivered to your home. Just something to fix for Spanish Marie if you want it to be a convenience for your customers when ordering take out.

Aside from that, it was my first time trying sour beer especially since I don’t really drink much, and it was delicious. Definitely felt like I was drinking a smoothie or having dessert. Looking forward to trying all their flavors if it was this good.

We got the pepperoni pizza and one with hot honey, goat cheese and arugula, can’t recall the name of it. The pizzas were yummy and flavorful even eating it cold, since having to go there and get the beer took some time.

Overall it was a yummy experience. Definitely a place to try if you’re in the area and want some sour beer and pizza.“

“This has quickly become my favorite pizzeria in South Florida.

I know, I know, there are lots of options in South Florida. It doesn’t matter what type of pizza you fancy, there’s a spot for you. That said, I’m a big fan of artisan dough, fresh ingredients, and a perfectly cooked pie. Bellillo is all of that and more.

Obviously, the location is super trendy. The fact that it’s open late is awesome. But nothing compares to how good the pizza is. I always start with a meatball appetizer and the cheese croquettes. They are on point like a decimal.

The Margherita pizza with the buffalo mozzarella is amazing. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken is awesome. And ending the night with a Nutella pizza with pistachios is like the cherry on the Sunday.

Ironically, we always get the same waiter, a young dude who has great table manners.
