Food was decent but the staff was rude. I was the only person in the store just looking at the menu and pastries. I explained I'd never been before and would need a minute to order and shortly after the woman at the counter angrily asked if I planned on ordering anything. Her attitude ended up costing them money because I decided against getting any pastries and only a sandwich instead.

7:30am and $37 later. You walk through the door and hear a "buenos días" which is nice. I went specifically for the Cuban bread and ended getting a box of assorted pastelitos as well. We all know that feeling of grabbing a fresh, warm, super soft Cuban bread. I didn't get that at all. I don't know what changed, but the Cuban bread was NOT warm, and NOT soft. The pastelitos de queso barely had cheese in them and the others were eh. Disappointed.

I am seldom as critical of a place, but I have to say that I don't think I'll return. The only reason it's getting two stars is because the workers were very friendly. I guess they must not refresh their pastries throughout the day because it was later in the day, around 4 o'clock, and I picked up some pastries to take to a friend's house. They were all dried out and tasteless. The guayaba in the menesier was like melted plastic. The only thing that was good in the bunch was the pan de bono. I tried calling them to let them know to pull that off the shelf, but after three tries, there was no answer. Very disappointed in my neighborhood Cuban pastry spot. Looking for suggestions for a new one

The staff here is the worst. You could just tell they don’t care and they hate their job. Always rude, I’ve gone several times but I’m done. Never going back.

Our go to place for pastelitos and café con leche. I prefer this place more so than any other. The food here is always fresh, hot bread in the morning is the best! They are always fully stocked and my favorite is they make cafe con leche with almond milk! The size of their pastries is huge compared to other places and all for a great prices. The ladies that work here are kind and fast!
