“Every year Naples loses and gains restaurants. Unidos, with its Latin fusion menu is a welcome addition to Naples culinary scene. The food and service are excellent. However, the atmosphere is NOISY, even on a Monday night, which makes conversation a bit difficult. Also $4 for water, but maybe that is standard now. Two people, no appetizers or desserts: two entrees, and three glasses of wine: $149. Seems kind of pricey but maybe typical.”

“Let’s talk about J. Alexander’s, where I recently enjoyed the Cypress Salad and the Prime Rib … a combo that screams “I’m healthy… but not too healthy.”

The Cypress Salad was a pleasant surprise. The crispy chicken was actually crispy (a rare miracle in salad land), the avocado was ripe, and the ranch dressing hugged every bite like a Southern grandma. Crunchy pecans and smoky bacon turned what could’ve been a side dish into a star player. It’s comfort food disguised as a salad … and I’m not mad about it.

Then came the Prime Rib, a glorious slab of beef that reminded me why red meat still rules the table. Juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned …it melted under the knife like it had something to prove. The au jus was rich enough to be bottled and sold as cologne.

Service? Attentive. Atmosphere? Warm, modern, and classy without trying too hard.

Verdict: J. Alexander’s nails that sweet spot between upscale dining and down-home satisfaction.

“We visited the Mon”key” Bread Factory at Tin City in Naples, FL on 7/17/24. I first heard about the location in an Explorcation vlog I watched to prepare for our trip. Once I saw the Monkey Buntz drizzled with a generous portion of icing, I knew this was something I needed to try for myself. The real thing did not disappoint. The bread had a subtle cinnamon flavor (less intense than a traditional cinnamon roll) and the icing was delectable and of the perfect consistency. A genuine treat. I paired mine with a hot Lavazza coffee while my wife opted for an iced coffee. We had Lavazza on a Celebrity cruise to Bermuda years before, so this brought back good memories and tasted just fine. The service here was wonderful and we got to see them icing some delicious looking cookies. I’d absolutely recommend stopping here while strolling through the unique Tin City shopping area.”

“I love the place, but the Sarasota Location needs faster bartenders. In addition, they need a place for guest waiting for a table to order a drink at the bar. We waited 45 minutes for a table, got to the table and waited 30 to 40 minutes for our mixed drink. We received our food in about 20 minutes, which was great. Jonathan the server was very apologetic. I went 2 weeks ago and Mary Kate my bartender/server was horribly slow. I had one drink and wings and took about an hour on a Sunday about 1pm. She had no sense of urgency and was not attentive at all. I love the place, but can't continue to go if this slow service is the norm from the bar. At the Tampa location the service was great and they had not one table available. Sarasota needs to step it up!”

“We last ate at USS Nemo when we holidayed in Naples in December 2015. I can remember the meal well because the flavours were fantastic. We dined there again recently and I had the same dish - Tuna East style, a truly fabulous explosion of flavours and a perfectly cooked medium-rare piece of tuna. Hubby enjoyed his Tuna West style. We shared a crème brûlée which was delicious, great crunchy topping and a lovely textured and flavoured crème. Great service again too even though the restaurant was very busy.”

“This was my first time to this Ritz-Carlton restaurant. It is the general dining facility of the hotel. We came for the Brunch ($38) which has enough options to satisfy most people. Note there are no carving stations but there is an omelet station. Bloody Mary’s are included; however, alcohol is an additional $12. What I liked: - The availability of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, instead of orange juice - They offer sealed portions of butter, jam, jelly, Heinz ketchup, pure maple syrup, etc. - All of the food we ate was very good to outstanding. I focused on the fresh fruit, lox, Eggs Benedict, bacon and roasted potatoes. - The hostess and service were very engaging and attentive - They provide a Terrazza embroidered blanket for those who might be too cold! - They have an omelet station What I Did Not Like: - Our table was very wobbly and required a “stabilization tune-up” by the staff - There were no bagels for the lox - The English muffins used for the Eggs Benedict were not toasted enough - Trying to get the cream cheese was nearly impossible. It is hard to remove when right next to it, however it was located at the furthest point under the plexiglass cover. I needed to do the “Gumbo Limbo” to get it! After tax and tip, you are at $50/pp which you can rationalize as a value since it covers two meals and more than covers the cost of ordering the lox and Eggs Benedict ala carte. I highly recommend you treat yourself soon and stop in for the brunch.”

“So January Friday 31st me and a co-worker were looking for some good Mexican food Latin food to eat. We stumbled upon this place and I'm glad we did. It used to be a nightclub now they're serving food. Being an LA born and raised I know good Mexican food I know good Latin American food. This place is amazing. Me and my co-worker both got the $30 burrito. It's supposed to be for two people but we're greedy we both ate one by ourselves. It comes with steak chicken and shrimp. It was absolutely delicious I even had them add chorizo to mine I highly recommend their chorizo phenomenal. The place is a little bit rough around the edges but they're remodeling. And it takes money. I highly recommend this establishment. The server was awesome the whole family works in the kitchen phenomenal food you will not be disappointed I promise. I will be going out of my way an hour and 15 minute drive to take my family there this coming weekend. I noticed there was a lot of bad reviews from years past. Don't pay no attention to those reviews. I promise you. If your main objective is great food. You will not be disappointed. “Came in August for our first ever Mission BBQ visit. The manager of this branch was so welcoming and kind. He explained how it works (we're from the UK) and suggested some items to order. The food was amazing, genuinely delicious bbq. The manager also gave us free sandwich vouchers for next time if we decided to return (which we did). He even sent out a free dessert and thanked us for visiting. My 6 year old loved the food and the atmosphere. We will now return to Mission BBQ every time we visit Naples.”

“Waa Hoo Port 32 is a hidden oasis. A real treat here in Naples. Also offers gorgeous pool, hot tub, steam etc. . Perfect place to go after boating for the day. Atmosphere is casual elegant. Food and service is excellent. We do prefer the afternoon menu to evening menu. Servers ( food and bar) exceptional. Always with a smile. We have brought several friends different times to enjoy food , ambiance and music. Minor complaint tho., we went last evening with two other couples. Ordered the pretzel appetizer and fried pickles and onion rings ( our favorite) told the menu changed at 5 pm. They still offered the peel and eat shrimp which is outstanding. We have always gone late afternoon with the afternoon menu. Last night when we arrived were told the menu changed at 5 pm. Definitely not as appealing as the afternoon menu. The pool area is very casual and the afternoon menu should be available all day. All in all, it has become one of our favorite places here in Naples. Food, service and prices are excellent!”

“Deep Sixing the Deep Lagoon! This was the Casey Key location!! Had dinner here tonight 4/7/2025, and was terribly disappointed in the kitchen service and the food. When we arrived, we were told that our party was already seated and where. The hostess did not take us to the table, but rather went back to " playing " on her cell phone while we walked to the back room to find our party. Our server was very nice but overwhelmed, as she had 4 large parties to handle in addition to our table of 4. My soup came out cold, I returned it, and waited over 15 minutes before I was able to flag down our server to get me a new soup. The new one brought was lukewarm at best. Dinners were brought out piecemeal. Only two arrived, and the were lukewarm, the hollandaise sauce on my husband's entree was congealed, so we knew it had been sitting for a while. Because we waited over 45 minutes for our meals, my companions decided to eat. My salad consisted on a small piece of blackened Mahi- Mahi( cold) which was placed upon 7 large Romaine leaves. They were not cut in any way, just put on the plate, with the cherry tomatoes, and other things around the plate. I called the Waitress over, told her this was unacceptable for $29, and requested just a side salad. She was very accommodating, and apologized profusely, even taking the fish off the bill, and giving it to me on the side. ( I didn't eat it, as it didn't taste fresh). Unfortunately, there are too many other restaurants in the Sarasota area that compete for my money. We won't be giving Deep Lagoon another chance. Beverly Gruensfelder”

“I love T-Michael’s and you will too. I came for Mother’s Day (solo as my family was up north). I was made to feel so comfortable in the dining room with a stunning view! My Chilean Sea Bass was to die for in a miso sauce. And the smashed cauliflower excellent. I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant!”

The flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The staff went above and beyond to make our dining/Party experience memorable. “We went this past Saturday to celebrate our friends birthday. We have been talking about coming down to this area for a minute and glad we did! The Kitchen and Mini Bar were closed until 9 for a private event however, we were able to hang at The Alley, The District, and Staff Only. Food was great at The District. I could not decide on a drink so the bartender made one for myself and my Mom. We both loved the drinks! Staff Only is such a great experience, too. The drinks are very expensive however, they are worth it! After The District and Staff Only, we went over to The Alley - Bartender was great! (Someone in our group lost their purse and he thankfully found it). Once The Mini Bar opened back up to the public, the fun continued! I can't remember the manager's name that night but she was phenomenal. All of the staff were! We will definitely be back!”

The food was good, the seafood dishes in particular. Shrimp and brioche, flaky cod, and roe and dill spread. The meatballs were okay, and the mash was tasty. Overall, it was a good experience and I recommend for anyone looking for a Swedish fusion style experience.”
