“I’ve been driving by this hidden Italian deli nestled in this plaza for quite sometime. Always wanted to stop in and give it a try and today I took the plunge. Family owned and I can tell the family operates it. The Gentleman recommended the Italian but I veered towards a Chicken Parm sub. I am Diabetic so I shouldn’t be eating this so I skimped and got a half. SO, I thought! The Portion was huge. I started with a fork and knife just to trim the sandwich so it could be handled with my bare hands. Now for the first bite of this Monstrosity of a sandwich. I was instantly put in a diabetic coma. One of the best Parm sub I’ve had in a long time. The bread soaked up the sauce just right and had a beautiful texture of a crisp outer shell and a beautiful soft sour dough center. You could definitely taste each level of flavor with every bite. It was so good it was stupid! Thank you for the first time discount and the complimentary second drink you wouldn’t let me pay for. “Best authentic German deli and butcher shop in Naples. Great lunch sandwiches and daily changing hot entrees with 2 sides. Furniture and dining area are a little dated but the food quality more than makes up for that . Do yourself a favor and try the warm bologna sandwich with German mustard on a sub roll. They warm the roll too! We also really like the schnitzel when they have it and gravy! They also have a great market with lots of authentic German treats and eats.“
“Ordered take out to be done at a specific time. It was ready when I showed up. Got to appreciate that. I had the Paul’s Popular Pursuit with corned beef. Wow. One of the better sandwiches I have had in a while. It might be a day or two before you are hungry again, but really a great find. Others in my party liked theirs as well. Seems like a nice little gem.“
“It has become a tradition for us to buy our ham here at The Honey Baked Ham Company during Thanksgiving when we’re in town. Food quality is very consistent and delicious. I just noticed this year the presence of an armed security guard. I hope everything was ok. Naples is still considerably better than most places.“
