From watching Diners, Dives and Drive Ins, we learned that there can be delish food in gas stations and this is a prime example. Not a place to eat in, and the Citgo station appears shabby but WOW on the chicken. We loved our local Popeyes up north and in the past 12 years of living here full time, every one we went to on our day adventures had small chickens. The name says it all! It’s crispy and crunchy and tasty and they make it to order and it comes to you fresh and piping hot! Order early because by dinner time the chicken is literally sold out!!!!You know it’s gotta be good if it’s sold out b4 dinner time!

Visited this chicken haven, and let me tell you, they don't just cook chicken; they summon it from the fiery depths of flavor! The birds must have had a spa day before meeting their fate because this chicken is hotter than a summer romance. It's so fresh; I half expected the chef to ask for its autograph.
