“My husband and I stopped in March the 10th and Evan was our server. That young man had 16 people in line waiting to be served. He remained calm, engaged, and very professional. The service is quick and even though the line was very long this young man handling all these people alone didn't excellent job. Don't know who the owner is but you are quite lucky to have him. And no I am not a family member I am from Indiana visiting the area and was quite impressed with your choice of employees. The young man is going to go somewhere in this life.“

“Venice ice creamery knows how to make a kid feel special. My son has a peanut allergy. He wanted a dipped waffle cone with sprinkles which they offered to make a special batch without peanut exposure. They also scoop his flavor choice of ice cream from the back to avoid cross contamination. These owners are the best! They also had 4 dairy free flavors that were AMAZING!!“
“My wife and I had ice cream here, and it was delicious. A very nice lady who I assume is the owner helped us out. She took her time with us and offered us samples to try of any ice cream we would like, what good customer service! She even had a nice conversation with us. “We happened to investigate this store to see what kind of bread they had and found out that they have pastry and filled pasta such as manicotti, tortellini, and ravioli. We tried the olive loaf and a desert. All is transported from Brooklyn, the Bronx and Staten Island. The Bread and desert were both delicious. We had a coconut ice too. Will be back for more.“
“Many locals told us to take our little one to get ice cream at Orange Octopus. Their recommendation did not disappoint! Thankfully they were open late so we were able to eat dinner elsewhere and venture over to this gem. Toasted Coconut and Mint Chocolate Chip were VERY good.“

“We were looking for a hot spot for an ice cream treat before heading home for the day. This place was adorable. They had a nice variety of ice cream options to choose from. I had a banana split and it was huge and delicious. They even asked if I wanted any alterations to it. They had toys and games set out to play with as you enjoyed your treat. “The employees are always cheerful and welcoming but not in that annoying way! The store is always clean & neat unless you have the unfortunate timing of coming in behind a gang of slobby PEOPLE( I was gonna just say kids but often there's "adults" too) My favorite flavors are Euro Tart, Pineapple, Limeade, Raspberry & Key Lime. They are all light, tasty & refreshing! There's also something "clean" tasting about them. I live in Englewood but every time I have to go to North Port or Venice, you can always count on a "pit" stop at Peachwave if you're w/me! Pun intended!!“
“Came here for food an a treat. The only food they have is a hot dog but it's a good one. The different selection of ice cream treats is great, especially the one with the brownie. Nice selection and a step above the rest of the ice cream places. There is no inside seating but there's a covered outdoor seating which is perfectly acceptable.“
“Great location, friendly service and best of all Sweet Melissa's is super tasty. We got a little crazy and got a banana split with some of the biggest ice cream scoops you could imagine. All the toppings came with it- if we wanted them- and all for $12. Not bad! Leave the dessert at the restaurant and head over to this place for the better alternative.“
